I initially had thought the same. After an email and couple of calls to Lucid CS the last person I spoke finally said just tap Turn On to start the Climate Control. All they need to do is have it say Turn On Climate .

Hi there GMan- I have a Mitsubishi-Trane 36000 BTU system. I'm cooling about 860 sq ft +/-. This particular unit is super efficient and doesn't work hard to keep the garage at 80ish degrees. I've posted a few pictures of the setup.

I have done the San Diego trip a couple of times. Used the EA chargers in Dateland with decent success. Certainly could have made it without stopping but the need for clean bathrooms and a stretch. Date Shake if you want. 😎🧋

One year and about 11,000 miles my GT remains very quiet. Had the steering wheel issue dealt with early on. Just the occasional tiny noise from the rear door window sun screens. Amazingly solid for a new model from a new company!
