Out of Spec - Gravity vs Escalade

Either that or you’ve gotten more cautious around potholes lol

Out of Spec - Gravity vs Escalade

    That’s for the range estimates

Out of Spec - Gravity vs Escalade

I mean they don’t. They allow you to switch between different sets. I don’t see them selling you different springs and suspension components. I agree with you on offsets though. That can have an affect on handling, steering, etc…but that’s simple enough. Wheels come with many offset choices...

Out of Spec - Gravity vs Escalade

If you can prove to me that Lucid has “tuned” the suspension differently for the different wheel sizes, I’ll believe you. As it stands, no one does this. Lucid didn’t do it for the Air either

Out of Spec - Gravity vs Escalade

Lucid said it was just a cosmetic choice…split diameters has nothing to do with chassis tuning or performance

Out of Spec - Gravity vs Escalade

I think the way they’ve done it on Gravity is better. Stealth/black trim is generally more popular these days. The “old at heart” crowd that likes shiny chrome will pay more for platinum regardless.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I wouldn’t be so sure. The 2025 IONIQ 5 that comes with NACS plug was tested by the OOS guys. It peaked at 120kw on Supercharger V3. Compare to over 200 at EA. Its going to be a rough few years for any 800V NACS cars until Tesla has deployed a good number of V4 cabinets.

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

Nah…pretty sure it’s normal for the slow CPU. when your profile is loading, it won’t let you shift into a reverse. And when it finally does load, it lags for a bit so you still can’t back up quickly

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

Pretty comprehensive list! But in my 2023 AT, Delays opening doors, delays for getting into reverse, delays for profile switching, and camera lags are things I experience almost daily. Screen malfunctions…maybe once a week Would be interesting to see some qualitative evidence from people with...

    Recent loss of range

    Something like this?

    Recent loss of range

Yup. Agreed with @Tâm. Driving 72 miles but losing 130 of displayed range is normal. If you’re not driving in a particularly efficient manner, doing 80mph, or driving in cold weather, with the heater cranked, or hills, this can be normal. My wife also is not the most efficient driver and...

    Next update?

Well interesting…looking at Lucid’s website. Dreamdrive Pro is now a $2500 option. Which I think is acceptable now for the current suite of support it has. And you’re right, it doesn’t appear Lucid promises anything either regards to future functionality anymore. Sucks for those that paid $9k...

    Next update?

Do you think what has been delivered to date for HA is all you expected for $9k? I would say no… lane keeping and lane changes is table stakes/standard equipment on Toyotas and Hyundais these days

    Next update?

true...would be a shame for those who paid $9k for DDP to get nothing out of it....i hope they will deliver some advanced hands-free ADAS features eventually

I hope there is room for optimization on pre<2025 cars

    Next update?

The main thing from Gravity UX i want is being able to split up having apps for top and bottom panel. I.e. having maps going up top and having media down on the lower panel. And then just make the whole thing like 5x faster/more stable haha

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

We're not even talking about exploding technology! I just want simple things to work...like my doors to open, or my screen not to go black or become non-responsive. Or not being able to put my car in reverse because it's attempting to set up a profile for a minute. Cars from 25 years ago did all...

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

You're being generous by giving Lucid 15...really it's like 7 smallish feature updates with the rest being post-update bug fixes lol

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

You said it yourself in your first paragraph… this is nothing new to Lucid. The question is…does management and the money bag holders think investing in UX and software is worth it compared to say discounting cars and shipping as many as they can out the door. From the looks of it, I would say...

    Next update?

Yea ive given up on that ever happening. The fact that they completely changed the orientation and everything. It’s not going to happen. Just like when Tesla released the model 3/Y, all their investment went into landscape UI enhancements. The portrait UI of the legacy S/X became second fiddle...
