Lucid has like 17 customers. Of course the service experience is better and more personal. Rivian was like that in the early days when I got my car. After they sold another 20x the number of cars, the service responsiveness went down the drain. Same with Tesla. I don’t actually think service is...
Lol, Travis is my SA too. He’s a really nice guy. But yea communication is definitely an issue. They spent 4 appointments trying to adjust my wipers from not streaking. Didn’t even look like they bothered to test the wipers after supposed adjustments. The last time I stood with the guy and...
How much slower do you want them to go!? They already did it your way with a snails pace of OTAs over 2024. And it's still riddled with instability. I'll take more frequent updates at this point!
What's your experience like with using the touch keyboard to typing an address/POI into the navigation. I've always noticed the responsiveness and experience was not great. You have to really be slow and deliberate when using the keyboard in order for it to register each letter...also do you...
My experience mirrors yours. Rivian's software has generally been rock solid for me. Yes...back in 2022 it had some finnickiness. But monthly updates removed more bugs than they added and the constant barrage of updates has mostly turned them into a Tesla software competitor at this point. They...
Yea as stated above, PurLuxe interior does not have ambient lighting. Additionally, you get the ambient lighting strip in the roof only with the glass roof. Otherwise as you noted, it's just the screen that changes color.
One issue you might have going with the summer tires is that even though the EPA rating is x% lower...it's still done using a conservative drive cycle. Going 75 or 80 or faster will cause an even larger efficiency drop from the EPA rating. I've noticed this with the Air 20s/21s as well. The...
Yea I have no explanation for Gen 2 Tests being so poor. I know Gen 2 large pack is way smaller than Gen 1 so I can understand the results of that one being lower. But max pack should be best. No idea…🤷♂️
The R1 gen1 large pack does great on the highway. OOS got 345 out of theirs. And I can confirm these are realistic. With the chunky All-Terrains and a 291 EPA rating, I was doing 300 easy at 70-75mph. (2.4 miles/kwh from a 130kwh battery). I had a loaner with the aero 21s and the efficiency was...
The point is not to trust your life with it. If you act like lucid highway assist is self driving it will try to kill you too. The point is to intervene like any L2 driver assist technology. 99% of driving is still better than a highway only driving assist that does 50% of your driving.
Of...
While Unsprung weight isn’t ideal true. the rule of thumb is that 1lb of unsprung mass is equal to 2lbs of sprung mass. So if 88lbs is replacing a 200lbs sprung motor, it’s still lighter and can be more efficient.
