https://www.koons.com/2022/lucid/air/50ea1gba6na002395?utm_campaign=cars.com_deeplink&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=cars.com Its starting. Hopefully, the dip in the market won't be too significant.

Have we confirmed no rebate for Pure?

There is also a chance that the law will be changed. Korea and the EU are complaining. And - I'm hoping Lucid, Fisker, etc. are working with IRS for improved guidance on the existing law.

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

My taxes are pretty boring. I'm not concerned. If they insist on undoing the credit, thats fine. Plus - don't spread fud, IRS typically has specific questions on the past years's return when they audit. They don't go multiple years back unless they think you're committing fraud.

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

Unless the IRS specifically says 5% non-refundable is required, I'm claiming the credit. I had a "written binding contract." If the IRS wants to audit me, and tell me their definition is different based on their general guidance, thats fine. My interpretation of written binding contract is the...

    Tri-Motor Poll

Agree that anything below 4.5 seconds 0-60 is just not useful. We don't need to compete over acceleration anymore, so lets find something new. 😜 The next feature should be: In cabin heater that has the capability of heating the cabin to 150 degrees, so you'll never have to worry about being...

    Tri-Motor Poll

I'm too poor. Really though, are there any dream edition performance owners thinking, "ya know, its nice, but needs more power." ?

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

This is getting ridiculous. If a non-refundable deposit on a written binding contract to purchase a car is not a binding contract, then what is? For a contract to buy a house, I put up earnest money, and have a written contract to purchase the house. If I fail to honor the contract, I lose my...

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

Fisker stated in their earnings call yesterday that if the legislation passes as drafted, they have a plan to convert reservations to "orders" so all reservation holders could get the tax credit. Hopefully, Lucid will do the same thing.

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

Fisker Ocean wouldn't quality for the new tax credit as its made in Austria, by the same folks that make the Mercedes G wagon, Toyota supra and BMW 5 series. The $5,000 non-refundable deposit is only for the first 5,000 special edition cars. I actually paid it. The rest will be much lower. Was...

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

Fisker is hinting at being able to offer reservation holders the ability to "order" the car this year, which would allow all current reservation holders of the Fisker Ocean the ability to be grandfathered in under the old tax credit. Hopefully, Lucid will do the same thing.

    Air Pure reservations

I have a Pure on reserve, but also ordered an Ocean One. I think its a fantastic car, with a leading warranty, great build quality, value, and design. Seriously look into it. The warranty blows Lucid out of the water. 6 year, 60,000 miles comprehensive. 10 Year, 100,000 miles powertrain and...
