    Lucid's Future

Let's not forget that Tesla had its sights on high-volume, cost effective manufacturing almost 2 decades ago! Tesla invested heavily in building batteries/battery packs, Gigacast, international factories, world-wide distribution and service centers, charging stations, etc.. These are major...

    Camera lag/delay

No debate the driver should be alert and monitors his/her surroundings. While the car (Lucid Air, and other modern cars) are full of sensors (US, LiDAR, radar, cameras, etc.) in some cars (perhaps the Lucid) all these sensors go through the car's computer to generate/inform of the alerts. My...

    Camera lag/delay

I concur with your response. I don't think the issue are the "Cameras" per se. I think it is more likely the congestion/resource-contention in the computing and networking system in the car. If so, this calls into question whether the architecture of the car's computing system and data...

    Camera lag/delay

Well, I'd like to get some clarity on the terminologies in this "camera-lag" conversation: > there is a noticeable lag in the "CAMERA IMAGE AS THEY APPEAR ON THE DASH", correct? > such lag is true for both the backup and the sideview (blind-spot) cameras, correct? > I don't know what cameras...

    Camera lag/delay

The "top view camera" is a composite image, stitched together from views of multiple cameras. As such, it is technically "not reality". But the side view cameras should be "reality", correct? I am more concerned about the lags in the camera views, especially in the side view cameras.

    Camera lag/delay

I have a tricky maneuver to do when I park my 2022 AGT into my garage in my 2nd home because of the topography (drive way is narrow and sloped). I back my AGT into my garage space at a steep angle. While I use the backup camera as a visual guide, my AGT brakes/stops automatically (presumably...

    Camera lag/delay

Backing up is usually a low-speed undertaking. Hence, a camera delay of 1/2 sec might be "acceptable" and users should not rely on the backup camera alone. What about side-view cameras for lane change? There is a noticeable lag as well? And the speeds of traffic (in the side lanes) can be...

As long as you can unlock and get into your car by paying, you are already ahead of many of us! 😉

    Software Improvements and Features Suggestions

While bug fixes and OTAs on cars, especially EVs, are "way-of-life", Lucid's track record and (lack of) communication is sub-par (the most polite term I can come up with). As the number of models/trims proliferates and different suppliers/components are used in different trims/models, such...

    Gravity Owner AMA - 4/5/25, 12PM-2PM PT

Natively, does UX3 still use HERE maps and (Lucid) navigation?

    Gravity Owner AMA - 4/5/25, 12PM-2PM PT

Did you own another SUV before acquiring the gravity? If so, what brand/model? In terms of space (passenger and cargo), how does the Gravity compare with your old/former SUV, especially in terms of accommodating large, bulky items (e.g., strollers, kids care seats, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.)?

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

I agree Gravity will cannibalize Air sales. Like you, I think that's inevitable, and perhaps fine, if Gravity helps Lucid gain market share. This is, as long as Lucid can ramp Gravity production seamlessly (in conjunction with demand). I think it will be inevitable that Air sale/lease will...

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

I think the reviews from the folks who were at the Extravaganza Event were overwhelming positive. For the typical New Yorker on the street who might not have heard of a Lucid before, I am sure it creates awareness and positive vibes. My question for members/users of this forum: > we learned...

No company can predict all future events. That's not the expectation either. When there is a "material" impact, it is best practice (and in some cases, a legal requirement) to disclose. Inability to plan, forecast, and communicate is the fastest way to get out of business.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Well, that's your way of doing business, not mine. Disappointment and lost of confidence come when expectations are not met. Disappointing your perspective customers is the fastest way to go out of business.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Maybe Lucid only has the green paint that's why they can't ship Gravities, other than the first 9 that were all green. ;) Seriously, when Lucid sacked Rawlinson in January, that's a signal something is significantly wrong with the Gravity readiness and ramp. You don't sack a CEO if you are...
