    Something is just not right

Nothing is perfect. I prefer a sedan, but I also want that smooth ride Cadillac is known for. I am not paying $200k-$300k (reported) for the Celestiq. I only ever wanted a Pure and MAYBE AWD. Why is there no data? It is Q4 22 and no word on specs, range, standard equipment, etc. I would...

    Something is just not right

I know. I am not saying GM or anyone is perfect. I am just saying the Lyriq seems to fit for me and that is the route I am planning on going. My previous car was a GM, so I like the value, but I know nothing is perfect, but I have to weight my "Buying Criteria" and rank the cars. I might end...

    Something is just not right

Does it bother you that I didn't pick Lucid? Really, this is your response. Do you really want to go there? How's your Carplay and XM radio? This is nonsense, you do whatever you want with your money and I am going to do whatever I want.

I get one in 2023, a 2034 model. Maybe you have to wait 2 years. I do not have to wait. You do whatever you want with your money.

    1. Fisker Ocean (Wife wants) 2. 2024 Cadillac Lyriq (Replace Air for me) #3 is still in the air for my son who gets his license soon. Maybe Tesla M3, I will start looking in 2023. I am still torn on the Pure, I haven't canceled, but I am leaning that way. I wish we knew more about AWD specs...

    Something is just not right

This is a very big point and I would agree with you. It is why I put a reservation down on Lucid, spacious luxury design. I would ask you this, the leg room in the back with the additional battery pack seems to drive the knees up and looks uncomfortable, why I choose the Pure. The seating leg...

    Something is just not right

I understand what you are saying and yes to engineers it is a big deal, but it is not a big deal in the big picture of buying a car. We all have our criteria and if power was the biggest factor then Dodge Hellcats would rule the market. If a Tesla Plaid can do 0-60 under 2 seconds does it...

It's great tech for sure, but I have come to realize that I do not want to Beta test software. I have gone thru that and I want a luxurious refined car that has and does everything I need.

I love the Lucid Tech Talks, but the information they go into seems to have an alternate purpose. I get the feeling Lucid is looking to be bought by Apple (anyone really) or they are hoping other car companies will want to partner with them to supply Lucid IP to other EVs. Things Peter says it...

    Moving on from Lucid

I think only those who bought and received before the new was signed will get $7,500 everyone else will get $0

How do you grade a car? (Pick an EV to buy)

They are actually very different. Range is how many miles can you go and Efficiency is how fast can it charge back to 80% or even 100%. Even kW per mile is a big factor. Those can vary a lot by manufacture and model. Refer to Car and Driver EV charging chart on the EVs they tested for 2022. I...

How do you grade a car? (Pick an EV to buy)

I have my personal criteria, I have an internal spreadsheet based on these factors that I rate a car. I don't always follow it, sometimes my impulses grab me and I want what I want. My Criteria 1-5, 5 best: Technology (EDITED: per @hydbob ) Hardware Software Looks Range Efficiency Price...

    Moving on from Lucid

We have an XC40 as well, do you have carplay issues? That's my only issue with it, the connectivity can be flakey at times. I can't understand why it can't do wireless carplay either. Per your wife, cars are a personal preference. Everyone is different, so what one likes the other may not...

    Moving on from Lucid

I don't see how. I have the OG price and the current price I should net $5 easily maybe more. (Pure) If it looks like I can't make money, Lucid dies and no one wants one, I walk away...I never locked in. I can still cancel.

Took delivery last Friday! Thoughts on week one and unfortunate problem last night.

That may be the issue he experienced, but it still doesn't explain why he couldn't reset the car. Would being in "N" prevent a reset?

    Management departures

They are not bad at all, I agree. Fix what isn't working. The problem is when you say you will make 20k-24k cars then cut that in half and then half that again that's a big issue. If this change fixes the problem good! Time will tell and at the end of the day, there is nothing we can do...

Time to be honest and tell the truth

Who is getting the range stated on their Air? Is anyone getting 516 miles of range? I have seen no one say they have, I have seen 0 youtube videos on it. I know a lot of people got the 1,111HP edition. How close to the rated range does the Air get? The T and P are yet to be released and...
