What I do is stop at lunch and set the limit to 90%. When I return from lunch it is almost always above 80%. I stop the charge and head off. At night, I charge it to 80%.
I've been delaying having a charger installed waiting for the V2H to be done. My thought was that if I installed now, I would probably have to have an electrician come out again. Plenty of Electrify America stations near my house and for normal daily driving a 110 recharges what I use. Do you...
The software on the EQS was better and I liked the HUD and the rear wheel steering but that wasn't enough to make up for the Lucid's overall handling and my wife and I like the interior of the Lucid more. The 580 was number 2, but it wasn't close.
I think EVs will help the power grid. We do need to get V2G working, but imagine the help the grid would get if people were able to plug their cars in at work and feed the grid when the grid needs help and charge at home when the grid is less taxed.
I think you will find that you made an excellent choice! The Touring is a fantastic car and traveling in it is a dream. Enjoy and welcome to the family.
My approach to trips has been to charge at lunch. I set the car to 90%, go eat and when I come back, it is between 80 and 90. Perfect, next charge after I get to hotel at night :-)
This was a moment for me. I gave a tour to a prior senior member of the staff that was the original occupant of my office and when he was leaving we got on the topic of cars and it turned out that he had bought a White Lucid Touring. What are the chances???
