I wonder if CarPlay/AA is not part of AAOS, or the issue is Lucid having an unconventional display setup (CarPlay coming later, AA still in development) GM chose to disable CP/AA in their EVs, but the Honda and Acura based on Ultium with the same AAOS setup got both enabled from day 1

That's how I lock my @xponents said the key has to be nearby - I always have it in my pocket. When I said I forget, I mean forgetting to press on the door, in which case I need to fish out the fob from my pocket or walk back to the car

I just lock by pressing the manual button on the door handle - but yeah in cases where I forget the fob (or phone) has to come out

Ah, RWD or AWD? On AWD the i-Pedal leads to lower efficiency because it keeps the front motor engaged - but yeah it doesn't have to be done this way, and then why stop the setting persisting on RWD either... If i-Pedal can be made sticky (and done in a way that doesn't sap range) the HMG cars...

I love the EV6 (and @borski his IONIQ 5, I see). Also check out the Genesis GV60. They all charge almost as fast as the Lucid, are reasonably efficient (my AWD model dips under 3 mi/kWh if I drive at 75 mph+, IONIQ a bit less due to aero, GV60 less still as it's the heaviest), quite spacious...

Yeah. Legacy automakers have the ability to just delay the EV transition and ship more hybrids. Lucid, Rivian, Tesla and many of the Chinese players don't have that luxury. That being said I think eventually there still needs to be more EVs, since at least in Europe the fleet fuel efficiency...
