    Phantom software update?

My Lucid app also suddenly had a 'Beta' tag on it, I wonder if it had something to do with that and a quick rollback of whatever was incorrectly pushed.

    2.1.10 OTA Update (7/24/23)

I really should use the 'driver paying attention' ir sensor and emitters to detect eye position and eliminate the hand on steering wheel thing. It all seems like a bit of a bandaid compared to what they want to actually implement.

    Android Auto Thursday

I got an old iphone xr off someone, popped in an additional data only sim you can get for free if you have Google Fi and that phone now lives in my Lucid just so I can use Waze and apps like YT music, LIbby, etc... more easily. Thankfully iphone XRs can be had really cheap, there is one big...

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

My car received 2.1.3 last night, it took much longer than the 50minutes the app said. It also for some reason turned on the brake lights like someone was standing on them for most if not the entire time the update was being installed.

But what if the other Lucids pick on it

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

Same, also on my DMP :) I'm still on 2.0.71, is now the right time to reach out to CS and see if something needs to be done?

RESOLVED Charging with Tesla Wall Charger

Not yet, so far pretty flawless. There is a requirement to plug in the connector for 30s first which doesn't seem like much but is a fairly long enough time that it gets a little awkward.

Mobile Connector vs Chargepoint or Juicebox or blah!

Yeah, i turned off scheduled charging on it a long time ago. The only thing I really use the wifi features on it is to send me reminders by 11pm that the car isn't plugged in.....saved my bacon a couple of times.

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

I may be in the minority here, but I think its due to the options that are available. More will always be better than less even when the Tesla supercharger option may not be great. That all being said, the CyberTruck and upcoming roadster (when they arrive the perennial 'next year') will likely...

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

Electrify America just signed up to add NACS to their chargers, this will probably be the high voltage NACS charging option that will force Lucid's hand.

NACS (Tesla adapter) versus CCS Megathread

GM's Ultium pack design and construction is really what allows it to be capable at 800v and 400v simultaneously, it basically operates like a 400v pack in most cases but for 800v charging, it switches from being wired in parallel to being wired in series. Its a pretty smart way to get faster...

RESOLVED Charging with Tesla Wall Charger

None of these chargers are live when you plug them in, they all have communications protocols that need to be gone through where the car tells the charger to start, how much to send, to stop, etc.... Invalidating a warranty from this would be nonsensical, it would indicate a much larger systemic...

RESOLVED Charging with Tesla Wall Charger

There is a Ford Lightning version that costs slightly more. From the Lightning forums, its supposedly overbuilt for continuous 80A and there is a discount code that you can use .....I don't know if this is all true or not but I bought this adapter for my car since the coupon made it cheaper...
