    Lucid support in decline?

I needed a tire because it seems the previous owner "went cheap" and got a Sailun front 21" instead of a Pirelli that I hadn't noticed. The 21" Pirelli LM1/LM2 tires are a bit difficult to find, but the Chicago Service dept. said they had some and would send it to me, and let me know Parts would...

    Pirelli lm1 vs lm2

Probably some compound improvements on the sidewall. Pirelli "didn't know" when I called which made me think up some salty comments kept to myself. I believe weight, UTQG, tread-pattern, etc. should be identical-ish otherwise. (Engineer licking thumb and holding it out, squinting one eye...

    Pirelli lm1 vs lm2

The reason I'm switching one out is that I was running the winter 19" set and never looked at the 21" set I had, assuming they were all Pirelli. They were not. One was a brand "Sailun" with a slightly different load rating of 96Y. 1111 Hp makes me cringe at the Chinesium of it, so I'm...

    Pirelli lm1 vs lm2

I talked to Pirelli and Lucid Service as I need a front 21" Pz4 and noticed only the LM2 are available. I asked Pirelli about the differences between the LM1 and LM2 and they said they didn't know (?!!) Their website gives no additional information under "Compare". They're both: UTQG 280/AAA...

    2.6.11 Update

Looking forward to that Android Auto update of course (for distinguished Men of Culture who shun the Apple philosophy). The front-end enjoys periodic restarts like a modern smartphone or PC Operating System and, well, it doesn't hurt. Just my opinion.

    2.6.11 Update

I find after a Lucid Update, a soft-Air-Logo reset is a healthy option. Your results may vary. Happy motoring.

    2.6.11 Update

Yeah, I mean it says what's happening on the screen, a percentage complete, and how long to finish. Not a big deal. I updated today and went back out and there were no issues. Small fix. I think it was under 15 minutes. Some not-Lucid cars take 12 hours.

    2.6.11 Update

What's interesting is that in order for this drop to occur, this issue had to have happened somewhere to someone? Yikes! It's unlikely the Team is testing Lucid Air door operations recently instead of Gravity, unless it was discovered on the Gravity and uses the same script. Happily, I've never...

    2.6.11 Update

In some "software circles" 2.6.11 is similar to 2.6.1.1. You'll see this with some Microsoft products and the like, as they're more alphabetic than numeric in-nature. Happily installed "after" my trip today. I plan on giving an Air-Logo reset as usual for stability's sake soon. I usually do...

    New App update

The new App seems to now include "heated surfaces", which is super nice. I'm gonna say that Lucid is pretty darn quick on fixing things digitally. Cadillac takes a couple of years, if ever. I'm also pretty happy about map updates, on a side-note. Cadillac's CUE system stopped updating mine in...

    Electrify America Charged me today

Probably much less cost. EA was charging $0.56 per kWh at the Station. US Average is about $0.16. My home rate in Colorado is $0.17. Hawaii is about $0.42. North Dakota is about $0.10. So, 100 kw "fill-up" would be $56 at the EA Station, and $17 at home for me.

    Electrify America Charged me today

Yep. I tried it 2 days after the 3-year mark last month and I was charged $0.00 The whole thing was an experiment at our only EA location. They charge $0.56 kWh (which is ludicrously high) and the fastest charging rate of these 350 kWh chargers was bout 70 kWh. Still, the handshake worked...

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

What are the specific specifications of each of the speakers in the Surround Pro? (ie. Ohms, Watts, Freq.Response (ie. 4 ohms, 40 watts, 20hz-20khz)?

Lucid Audio Experience AMA (March 11, 2025)

What are the frequencies the EQ are set to? Is Low / Mid/ High set to 100 Hz / 1000 Hz / 10000 Hz? Can a user predefine those? Can an update be made for a 5-band EQ?

    New App

I believe it is Eureka Gold. They do a fantastic job painting, unlike some other electric car manufacturer that rhymes with Snessla. I think it would benefit Lucid to go the Lotus Elise path and offer 31 flavors. I always wanted a Moonstone SC Elise. I know the guy who has the one but he...

    New App

I'm always impressed Lucid performs rapid repairs digitally, truly. I mean, door handle strength to deal with ice? Fixed. Wow. They programmed a LOT into mechanical bits that would otherwise be simply an actuator with a voltage; that they could send increased voltage via the computer, that...

    New App

No dice. Even restarted device entirely, and powered on/off. I guess I could uninstall and re-install it?
