It’s underneath the rear seat cushion. You have to pull up hard to release. I don’t know why EV makers are going the route of using tiny 12 V batteries when regular sized automotive 12 V batteries have been the norm for years. It seems like almost every EV manufacturer has had 12 V battery issues.

Agreed. Those that have issues with the AQ should infotainment reboot and reset EQ settings to baseline. I haven’t evaluated the new sound myself as of yet.

Exactly, plus a thief can make them beep to help them find them. There are hacks online to disable the beeper in the AirTag. Of course, this should only be done for tracking a possession and not for stalking someone. But would be good know the OP's use case for wanting to hardwire something...
