SteveinArizona, Thank you for your comments. It has been over 22 years since I last drove a sedan/car. everything has been SUVs or minivans. If I pursue the Lucid it will be a significant change, but it is never too late to try something different for a change.

Lucken, From what I have been told the 24 Pure has a standard and low setting. The demo drive I took the Pure was set at standard. Thank you for your comments.

Deane, My Y is set on Hold and the majority of the time I can come to a complete stop just using the regen. Thank you for your comments.

Joe, The sales associate set the regen brake. I did not see where the regen brake setting was located. If I could have found it I would have changed the setting. Having to use the friction brakes was disappointing. With my Y I have the regen set at Hold and the friction brakes are used vert little.

DeaneG, That is a great question about tire size. I do not know. Thank you for calling that to my attention. The 23 Pure had 20" tires and it's ride was smooth very little bumps, but the city of Plano has been repaving that street. Thank you for your comments.

Jiminga, I agree with you about leasing. I am 73 and have never leased a car and do not plan on starting not. I typically drive a car 5-7 years. I pay it off in 2 years.
