Comments as I am no expert nor ever owned an EV. I have driven a few tho:
#1. totally agree and this will be my practice for long term (more than a week of not use)
#2. Makes sense unless you are going on trip and the 'needs outweigh the rules'
#3. this is an awesome recommendation. My cousin...
Level 2 charging is not supposed to damage or reduce the life of the battery. However, #2 comes into play. If you need to charge to that and you don't need to hit a DC fast charge - makes perfect sense.
If your residence of Utah, you can only do cash or 3rd party financing. This is due to no brick and mortar for Lucid in Utah. I assume this might be similar in other states.
Decided to pull the trigger on a Lucid Gravity purchase/deposit. I consulted with my cousin who worked for Lucid as well as Rivian. He had some interesting things to say, almost axioms to consider:
1. Try not to use DC Fast chargers. On long trips you may not have a choice so if you can top off...
Spoke to Dennis from Lucid a couple of times in the last two weeks. There is a Lucid Drive event in Park City within the next couple of months being planned. They will be giving test drives and arranging future and existing customer drives. Stay tuned.
Welcome to the Utah group. I just ordered my first Lucid and long time fan and investor. I ordered a Gravity GT basically loaded. I found the 20" wheel/tire combination to be the best for the snow we enjoy near Park City, UT. My cousin used to work for Lucid in the beginnings and lead engineer...
Does anyone have an answer if you order the 3rd row, can you remove and still be flat like not ordering the third row. I have a 55 lb and 14 lb dog that needs room in the back. I saw Kyle's video and when they stow the third row, it is very uneven.
So DE version of Gravity is 1070 hp (242 more than 828)? Wow, sign me up! Heading over to Denver to test drive late spring and then order a Gravy GT or DE. WIll check if my wife and two dogs likes it.
