Speculation Lucid Prepares to Announce Partnership with Hyundai on Electric Motors

I think this put paid to the rumor; Hyundai and GM to work together on developing new cars

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

I suspect Lucid rolled 2.4.0 and 2.4.2 to a small percentage of random VINS. Typically something like 10%. Then waited to see if there were any issues. Trying to work out some form of pattern is probably pointless.

RESOLVED Mobile app on 2.3.10 control buttons disabled

Ok. Well I think I discovered the problem. The app didn’t wake the vehicle because it was already awake charging. So the buttons didn’t get enabled. Once the vehicle finished charging and slept, waking it from the app correctly enabled the buttons and the app worked correctly. So it sounds like...

RESOLVED Mobile app on 2.3.10 control buttons disabled

Noticed some weird behavior with the app while still running 2.3.10 and wondering whether it’s because I’m not on 2.4. The app wasn’t showing the charging speed or estimated time to charge. It was only showing the updated % battery. The app on the charging page didn’t have the “stop...

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Are these camera issues only happening to people with DDP or are there folks with premium etc that also experiencing this issue ?

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

Hoping there’s also bug fixes, including fixing soft close (for some us that have issues since 2.3.10)

    Unlocking with mobile key unreliable

Some people prefer to not carry a key, and just have their phone open the car. I've flip flopped between the two, but agree the fob does work more reliably (for me 100% also).

Unlock From Android Watch or Apple Watch

Well you were correct, the door handles retract, but pressing them makes the car wake and the door handles raise. So the vehicle is still unlocked. However I was disappointed to find that I wasn't able to remove the charger while the handles were retracted. I had to wake the vehicle before it...

Faster Chip Available for Retrofitting in the Air?

I think the benefit will potentially be more obvious and larger once we move to 3.0, with the assumption that Lucid moves the Air to the same 3.0 interface as the Gravity (which might not be the case). 3.0 will almost certainly push he new chip more than 2.0

Unlock From Android Watch or Apple Watch

Thank you, yeah I did press in the handle, but quickly and it just bounced back flush and didn't open. But I'm wondering whether I needed to push the handle down longer. I think you're right and will try again tonight.

    Keep car unlocked

I think you're right. Was discussing this also in this thread https://lucidowners.com/threads/unlock-from-android-watch-or-apple-watch.9897/ I presume you just need to push the handles down long enough for them to raise again?

Unlock From Android Watch or Apple Watch

Weird, my car was in the garage, no key was left in the vehicle, with passive lock OFF. When I returned to the garage later, the door handles had retracted.

Unlock From Android Watch or Apple Watch

I just wrote in another thread about switching off passive lock. I tried this over the weekend, but it appears that even with this off the door handles retracted after a period of time (although the mirrors stayed extended). Are you saying that even though the handles have retracted, the car is...

    Keep car unlocked

For those of you that have switched OFF passive lock. I tried this over the weekend, and was disappointed to discover the doors still lock after a period of time (door handles closed), while the mirrors remain unfolded. I guess there's no way to keep the vehicle completely unlocked?

    Unlocking with mobile key unreliable

That’s because your phone powers down Bluetooth to save battery. Most of the time the delay with your car opening is because your phone is in this state. Pressing a button on it in your pocket or taking it out wakes it which causes Bluetooth to power up and connect with your Air allowing it to...

RESOLVED Does your front footwell woofer work properly? TSB-B1122-001

Thanks Bobby. I did look, all I can see is where the tape holes are, on the left of the drives side footwell, I didn't actually see any sign of a speaker. Did I miss it?
