    A warning for colder climates

If you keep lids on the water bottles, you will be fine.

    A warning for colder climates

You are misleading people here. Yes, one user did have to pay a repair for water damage. However, that water damage occurred from an open water bottle that the owner was carrying in the trunk. The damage did not occur from loading/unloading the trunk in the rain or from snow falling in when...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

There is a lot more energy used for cooling during fast charging than for pre-conditioning. Losses from both pre-copnditioing and cooling during fast charging are included in the efficiency number. Hence, it is not a relevant efficiency number.

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

You are completely missing the point. Faster charging requires more cooling to keep the battery temperature down to continue fast charging. Battery temperature is very relevant to charging speed. I am not sure hwy you insist that it is not. The energy used for cooling the battery during DC fast...

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

Please tell me how you are violating the laws of physics. All battery cells have a relationship between temperature and charging speed.

Why is No One Talking About All of the Improvements to the 2025 GT?!?

Maybe the Air is more or just as efficient at 2.9 mi/kWhr and 155 miles traveled, the 2023 Air is 3.1mi/kWhr and 144 miles traveled Taycan is 2.7 mi/kWhr and 193 miles traveled Model S is 2.9 mu/kWhr and 132 miles traveled This efficiency number is based on miles driven divided by power...

3 Gravities at Milbrae Studio: 2 "VIP customer cars" being prepped for delivery!

I asked Derek Jenkins about Zenith Red on Gravity and he told me that he would like that color himself but there are no current plans for it. He followed up that comment with there will likely be additional Gravity colors in the future like we saw with Air. I would also like a Zenith Red Gravity...

    Electrify America

I find killing the app and restarting it will usually cause the app to show the car back online. This will not work if the car is truly out of cell range and therefore does not have connectivity.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I asked specifically about this at the delivery event and was told that I would be very happy with Gravity's charging speed at V3 Superchargers. That said, current limits will keep it below a maximum of 250kW. Hence, EA and other high voltage networks will still be faster.

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

The factory footprint and equipment can support 90k cars per year. The workforce and supply chain is current supporting about 12k cars per year. It makes absolutely no sense to ramp to 90k cars for one year and then back to 40k cars the following year just because the initial Gravity demand is...

Open letter to Lucid after 29 months of ownership

Coming up on three years with my GT. It is far and away the best car that I have ever owned. I just let HA handle an hour of stop and go traffic on the I-10 between Casa Grande and Phoenix. Very relaxing with the car starting and stopping while I sat back and sipped on ice water.

    Next update?

I am also very confident that the Gravity UX will roll down to Air. Certainly feature like programmable buttons that are hardware related will not but most of it will. It should be a great update. I also do not expect it until summer. I hope that Lucid beats my guess and delivers it to Air in...

    Touchscreen sensitivity is very poor

I find that either a very short or very long touch fail but it works well with a medium touch. I agree that is seems more insensitive to touch than it should. I would say that about 1 in 5 times I have to try twice to either open or close the garage door.

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

There is a difference between an open letter to Lucid and an open letter about Lucid. An open letter to Lucid is sent Lucid and provided to a wider audience. The thread title implies this letter is to Lucid but it was not sent to Lucid. Hence, it is an open letter about Lucid.

Can you haul a 4'x8' sheet of drywall?

I am with @Knucklehead on this discussion. I have long preferred SUVs to trucks, even if that means not hauling uncut sheet goods. While I would like to haul sheet goods without cutting in the Gravity, it is not a show stopper for me. The width of Gravity cargo area appears about the same as the...

Any updates on GGT delivery date?

I agree, no chance that the ramp will be that long. Supposedly Air owners will be given priority and there is a stated delay on Titanium Silver. 8-9 months could be accurate for non-Air owners or silver Gravity.

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

I am curious if you sent this open letter to Lucid and if so who you sent it to. Venting on the forum is not an open letter to Lucid.
