    Software update 2.3.0

From what I recall, the manual implies that wifi will be used to download updates. That said, I think @borski mentioned that he had reason to believe wifi wasn't being used, but I don't recall the specifics. Might be worth asking Customer Care for some guidance on that one.

warning: regen braking with bumpy road

I was relying on max regen braking to time a stop at an intersection at the bottom of a hill. All was going well until I reached an uneven surface shortly before the stopping point. The regen braking more or less went away, much to my surprise, and I quickly hit the brakes to stop the car. I was...

10+ hours Locked out of My Lucid

Got myself locked out for the first time this weekend, 100% my fault. Left the house with 17% battery on phone, drove to local hiking spot, went for 3.5 mile trail run/hike, phone died about 2 mins prior to end of hike. Got to car, realized quickly that I was hosed. Wallet with key card was, of...

    Electrify America Overpriced?

wth is that all about? Are they waiting to test it out, or is the price per kw/h radically different to the Superchargers?

Watch out when sending a destination from Google Maps on your phone to your car

Not sure if Gmaps is sending an address when it shares or at lat/lon. If it's the former, then I could see that the parsing of the address might fail on the 'target' side (Lucid, in this case), but if it's a lat/lon then it's less obvious what the problem is and why the Lucid software is falling...

    Software update 2.3.0

Curious, is anyone getting upgrades from 2.2.x at this point or is the rollout on hold? I suspect the latter, the above push notwithstanding.

    DreamDrive Megathread

Correct, Step 3 is automatic if the road supports it, otherwise it defaults to Adaptive Cruise only. Either way, it's a total of two steps.

Wanting to step into a Lucid, trouble deciding

Based on borski's post, I'd say you could live without nearly all of the comfort and convenience package. Don't sleep on DD premium, though.

Wanting to step into a Lucid, trouble deciding

The cameras associated with DD Premium are more or less a must-have IMO. It's not "fancy," it's simply about situational awareness and safety when parking or changing lanes. I would not entertain the notion of acquiring a Lucid without DD Premium. No idea what's in the Comfort and Convenience...

10+ hours Locked out of My Lucid

Another vote for key card here. I don't bring the fob with me at all, it's 100% unnecessary IMO to have mobile key, a fob, and the key card. I have had a few cases at home where phone was moved around in the house enough to trigger the proximity unlock feature and power up the car, only to then...

    RESOLVED Trouble Programming Homelink

I wasn't far off, then, new battery in a remote (in this case, an older remote). I do wish there wasn't quite so much sensitivity to these processes working or not working.

    RESOLVED Trouble Programming Homelink

Also on Liftmaster here, would be eqaully surprised if a software issue fixed it. I'd lean towards there being an undiagnosed hardware issue before a software update would resolve this, unless there is specific guidance that newer software has changed how HomeLink signals are detected/learned...

    Software update 2.3.0

Great example of why it's important to believe in the company and platform more so than the present-day feature set. Granted, sweeping OTA updates haven't been a thing (afik) for previous manufacturers, so it's going to take time for people to get used to it...but I was thrilled to have DDPro...

    EA Megathread

30% SOC should yield around 200kw/h from a capable charger. I'm at 77% SOC as we speak, finishing up a session at a 150kw EA station while working in the back seat (the new home office!), it's pulling 67kw/h.

    Steering Wheel Creaking?

That's precisely what I had with my '22 GT. Apply any torsional load (ie. push forward on one side and pull on the other) and it would creak, as well as during normal steering. It was noticeably worse in hot conditions, too. They replaced the steering wheel and it appears to be resolved. I've...
