Thanks, Borski. I appreciate your perspective.

    Brick or Turtle Incidence

Don't know about any industry standard, bydbob. Fair question. In my view, if you have a real or perceived issue, as Lucid seems to have, it's best that you, and not a nefarious other, controls the narrative around it.

    Brick or Turtle Incidence

Fair question. I guess I come from the pharmaceutical industry, where companies are required to present what they refer to as "fair balance" when talking about a drug. In other words, this drug has a serious side effect incidence of X%, and the most serious of them are these. And yes, the...

    Future direction of the forum

Have to agree. Most people on this forum, myself included, either love this car or want to love it. My sense is that the trolls are a small in number and impact. Still, I like the idea of requiring verification of current or pending ownership. The forum's moderators are, in my view, really...

    Thank you!

100% agree. Well done by the moderators.

Happy to hear, AirDoll. Glad your experience has been splendid to date.

    Brick or Turtle Incidence

Agreed. So we're in the dark, so to speak. This is a great forum, well moderated, informative. Wonderful to read about the thrill of driving the car. As others have posted, with any vehicle comes some risk. It would be good to know just how severe that risk is, and of greater importance...

Borski--with all due respect, and I do indeed respect you and your viewpoint, while I understand that you can't disclose "data from other sources,"--presumably, Lucid--the company needs to step up and provide some clarity here. A skeptic would say, maybe there's a coorelation between the real...

    Brick or Turtle Incidence

Right. No data, so it's just your opinion, however rationally derived, at this point. You know who does have the data? Lucid. If your opinion, and Bobby's supposition, are correct, Lucid could easily provide the data to support you. They haven't, and until they do, this forum's data are all...

    Service - Premium?

You're right to expect a higher level of service and accommodation from the sellers of a $150,000 car. You're not asking them to polish your nails, for God's sakes. Just provide a level of service that reflects the excellence Lucid's website connotes. Act like a luxury car company. Alarming...

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

Can you tell me which document your post refers to when you cite Page 386, line 20. Having trouble finding it. Thanks!

    Reservation Cancellations feedback

I agree, Bobby. That said, I'll take the fuel savings as an added bonus.

Not buying now after I saw this

Taxes in general are high in New Jersey, where I live, but God bless them, no sales tax on EVs--one of the big reasons I bought.

Lucid needs to train its service advisor to be a bit sympathetic to customers' concerns

Horrendous. Get his name, rank, and serial number, and let his bosses know. The only way the company gets universally better (more like Bobby's experience in San Diego) is to weed out the incompetency as quickly and completely as possible. Inexcusable.

My experience with the Dream after 10 days

Hi, Hydbob. Thanks for your mulitple lengthy posts about your experience with your AGT, including the one you posted about getting the most out of the car's sound system. Can't wait to try. It's been a while since you posted the above message, detailing all the issues you were having with...

    Current Owners - Daily Driver?

I'm in a similar boat, worrying about paint chips, wear and tear. My Touring (finalized design last week for a 1Q2023 delivery) will be my first new car in nine years (although my wife has a Tesla Model Y). I am planning to have the PPF and ceramic coating done immediately. I think the cost...

Sorry to agree, regarding Pure delivery times. The Air Touring is next in line. I just finalized my Touring design, and Lucid gave me a vague 1Q2023 delivery estimate. I'm taking that to mean the end of the quarter. Guessing the Pure will be after that.
