OK We Got V2V charging...any plans for V2L?

V2L was a really big selling point for me, so I'm disappointed that my 2023 AT can't even use the rangeXchange adaptor without buying a new version of the Lucid portable charger. That solution would at least allow you to recharge some portable batteries like Ecoflow. But I was expecting to buy...

Lucid Air as a car to teach my teenage daughter driving?

My daughter takes her road test this week, so it's a timely thread. But she is banned, forbidden, disowned immediately if she touches the Lucid except from the back seat. Our other car is a nearly eight-year-old Model X. She is learning on that vehicle. I no longer have the slightest respect for...

    "Hey Lucid" specific capabilities

I asked HL to "navigate to Electrify America," but it gave me two, neither of them the closest nor the largest. I tried asking it to navigate to a local high school and it gave me items that were neither high schools nor nearby. The problem isn't the HERE maps, because that would have been true...

    Battery Degradation After 1 Year

My original 100% at delivery was 445 miles (!) or 20 miles above EPA rating for the 2023 AT with AWD. After 18 months and 9000 miles, it's at 428 miles or a degradation of <4%, which closely matches my battery health percentage. For those of you jealous of my better-than-EPA mileage, I think...

    2.4.0 / 2.4.2 / 2.4.3 / 2.4.4 OTA

I haven't gotten the update yet, but I have DD Premium, which has the surround view monitoring. Anyway with DD Premium and the 2.4 update able to see side lanes? Even without lane switching, the visualization has added safety benefits.

Anyone try Hey, Lucid with Spanish? In our bilingual household, we used Alexa with both English and Spanish. Just to be clear, I don't mean "Hola, Lucid." Anyone, anyone?

    AC Not working

I just had my first annual maintenance performed by mobile service. I had added my complaint about poor air flow from the vents in the rear passenger area as well as one vent in the front on the driver's side. The tech fixed the problem, which he explained was due to the part not being seated...

RangeXchange and EcoFlow EV X-Stream for pseudo V2H

Did you separately purchase the second-gen charging cable ($650!) to pull this off or do you have a newer model. I noticed that on the Lucid website, it says, "* RangeXchange Charging Adapter requires a V2V capable Lucid 40A Mobile Charging Cable. Cables supplied with Lucid Air MY 22-24 are not...

    Lucid Air Pure Efficiency

...and miles or kilometers per hour will also be dependent on traffic, both positively if you had to slow down to a more optimal speed sometimes and negatively if you are starting and stopping regularly. I did a trip from Orange County to Santa Clarita and back and got 4.6 miles/kw. But...

New York Times NACS Delays Article

I have an older Model X with lifetime supercharging. On Sunday, I went to the nearest supercharger with 24 stations total, divided in two parts in the same commercial mall. On one side, with 12 chargers, there were four cars waiting on a Sunday. Albeit a busy time, but gotta say, I haven't seen...

Lucid vs Tesla self drive software

I drive a legacy Model X (AP 2.0) with EAP as well as my Lucid AT with DD Premiere (eg. no lane centering). My experience over nearly eight years with the Tesla colored my decisions with the Lucid. I originally signed up for DD Pro, but with the layoffs last year, I realized that its...

NEMA 14-50 Outlet vs. Home Charging Station: Which to Choose?

I held off buying the Lucid home charging station until V2H becomes a reality. But I already had a totally reliable, ugly, 40amp (charges at 32amp), non-WiFi, completely stupid (eg. not smart) Siemens charger from prior EVs. Just using scheduled charging in my AT is enough until there's a really...

Lucid able to charge at an EA station, but 3 cars before all failed

I just had the same experience a couple of weeks ago. At a relatively well-maintained EA station at a mall, two MBQ 450s in a row were unable to pull more than 60kw at a 350kw charger. After they gave up, I was next in line and stupidly tried it anyway. i pulled 180kw to start and then had the...

RangeXchange and EcoFlow EV X-Stream for pseudo V2H

Well, at least you could do it in series. Charge the EcoFlow battery from the Lucid via RangeXChange, unplug, and use the EF battery to power the house. Definitely not as useful for power outage backup, but better than nothing.

RangeXchange and EcoFlow EV X-Stream for pseudo V2H

This is a brilliant idea, particularly because the Lucid could provide power in the event of an outage through charging the EcoFlow battery via the adapter, minimizing how much battery storage you would otherwise have to or want to buy. Obviously, you would not want to use the Lucid for daily...

    My 1 year review

I also just completed one year. I’ll split mine into pluses and minuses for the AT: Plus 1. The best car to drive: handling, suspension, comfort all rank at the top. 2. The 360 view in DD Premum/Pro is great and is useful on a daily basis. 3. Highway assist in DD, DDPremium is better than using...

Has anyone else with an Air Dream Experienced Reduced Charging Capacity?

I also don’t have a DE, but nearly one year later with low mileage, my degradation seems to be 1.3%. However, I charge nearly always at EA (early mornings at a mall with six chargers), but I keep almost always between 20 and 80%. It would be interesting to combine the stats from the API website...
