    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Isn't mileperhr using an app or something that gets close? Car and Driver is using rollout so it might do 3.1-3.2 with rollout.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Smaller wheels maybe, but not on the hankooks. Car and Driver got the Air Touring to 3 seconds flat on the Michelins, its 3.5s with some wheelspin on the street on the 19s with all-seasons...

Lucid Air Grand Touring Test - Range at 3 different speeds and Cabin Noise

https://www.arenaev.com/lucid_air_grand_touring_range_test_and_cabin_noise-news-4629.php I've always enjoyed seeing these test results, quite a commitment to drain the battery 3 times at 3 different speeds. Shows that EPA can be achieved with average 56 mph.

    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

I did the analysis. There were 5,930,000 accidents average in the US, over about 2,588,235,291,117 (2.5T) driven miles. This was from a couple years ago, so probably increased a bit. So, the accident rate of a totaled vehicle is about 2% per 10K mile drive, (ie 2% probably that over a 10K...

    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

Counterpoint. I can't get a Macan 4S for less than 1631 for equivalent lease 24 mo, 7.5K down and roughly equal MSRP. And then I lose range, power, 7 seats, room, power outlets, etc etc etc...

    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

So, the question is does it make sense to finance and combine that with some reasonable down payment if your goal is to not pay everything upfront and keep some money working in a yielding account? Or borrow some cheaper money from elsewhere.

    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

The majority of banks are sitting on underwater loans of depreciated cars from overpricing in 2022, so none of them are feeling at all friendly with loaning/leasing at this time....

    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

I did play with the lease calculator with potentially my exact configuration and found it was still cheaper to go for a higher mile lease vs eat some over mileage costs. So, the idea is to get more miles than you think you need.

    LUCID Gravity Lease vs Finance

There must some calculation that figures a small downpayment to cancel out higher accrued interest payments. But yes I look at the leasing for EV tax credit for high-end cars and High Income as getting a couple free options instead....

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Honestly, they did kind of just flush through what I call the Tier 3 reviewers, all the clickbait ones with high-level reviews in short time frame. None of the professionals have done reviews that actually properly test cars or do technical deep dives, track tests et outside of OOS and State of...

Air #1 Seller of large luxury sedan in the U.S. for Q1’25

Aren't all the rest outside of Porsche running pretty heavy incentives as well? Technically the Pure model straddles the price and size of the 5 series and E Class as well.

But you can set it to fit however you want to sit, get in low or medium and sit high. I think 90% of the time it's going to be in high unless on the highway or sporty driving.
