Rawlinson Interview At Geneva Auto Show 3/4/24

May I ask why people are so excited about this ability and want it? Here is my biggest reason for NOT wanting it (and not using it): A battery pack has only so many cycles. Heck, our warranty only kicks if if we go below 70% and guess what, your warranty replacement can be refurbished and...

    Android Auto Thursday

nope.. no iPhone for me thanks. To work with my Lucid better is not selling me on it either. I've seen my MILs issues she constantly has with her iPhone while the rest of the family has Android and can't even help her. After I forget how many years of Android, I just don't see myself wanting...

    Android Auto Thursday

hmm. I have Android 14. Does this mean Android 15 is out and I just didn't get it yet? Ironic is my husband's phone (and android version) is so old, he couldn't even put the Lucid app on his phone (it wouldn't work!)

    Need help deciding to buy

I've had my 2023 Pure AWD since July 7 2023 and still smile every time I get in it. I still look for excuses to drive somewhere. I only have 7300 miles but it's all smiles!

Why do people use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?

This is what I am worried about but now that I saw we should get it by the end of this year anyway, I'm going to hold off on ordering this thing and hope the information is right and Gravity release means Anrdoid Auto update for us as well!

    Auto Park

pretty sure that would freak the crap out of me considering I'm afraid to use the park feature on my Lucid.. lol

    Tidal Plans and Pricing

hmm.. I tried to sign up yesterday after Sirius expired and it wanted $19.99 a month for HiFi option (which I assume I want for Atmos). Anyone else able to tell me there is a cheaper option?

    Android Auto Thursday

Excellent! Interesting that I didn't also get a phone call with my mention of Android Auto in my own survey but I'm glad to see someone did and we have progress! I'm looking forward to the possibility of having Andoid Auto before our next big road trip in December this year!

    Share your best pic!

I was in Arizona for a bit and tried to take some nicer background photos. My avatar photo to the left here is in front of the AP1 factory building in Casa Grande. Here's a few more including one from Feb 29th in Dubuque, Iowa in front of one of the murals there.

    Air Pure DC Fast Charging

So the most I've seen so far is a max of 221kW (briefly) when I was at 19% SOC to start. I see the 2 photos here were at 10% and 5% SOC so I suspect that explains the higher start speed for charging. It's interesting though to see above 250kW on a Pure AWD though because I thought 250kW was...

Has anyone else with an Air Dream Experienced Reduced Charging Capacity?

oh okay. I was slightly worried I was doing something wrong but I rarely charge above 85% and almost never gone below 20% SOC so I couldn't figure out what I might be doing wrong

Just test-drove the Air Pure RWD

Now I'm also curious to go test drive the RWD. I always thought it would be quieter with less regen actually (why I initially wanted to wait for a RWD actually) but I'm quite happy with my AWD Pure when all said and done. I still think I'm going to go test drive a RWD though just to see how...

Has anyone else with an Air Dream Experienced Reduced Charging Capacity?

I guess this means I've lost 5kW capacity already and approximately 5% despite being only 7 months old with 7275 miles having a 2023 Pure AWD

Has anyone else with an Air Dream Experienced Reduced Charging Capacity?

So the starting/new battery capacity is 88kW or 92kW ? I've seen BOTH referenced but I always thought NEW was 88 on the Touring or Pure? Am I mistaken?

Has anyone else with an Air Dream Experienced Reduced Charging Capacity?

I wonder if it has anything to do with how often or when the last time it reached 100% and did 'battery balancing'.. or does this not happen/isn't really a thing any more? I remember on my former Spark EV (my 1st EV btw), values would look different if you charged up to 100% and it went through...

Has anyone else with an Air Dream Experienced Reduced Charging Capacity?

Okay... here's what mine shows: "capacityKwHr": 87.3199980482459 ^ 2023 Lucid Air Pure AWD with 7275 miles as of this moment.

EA's new strategy of under promising

hey guys. anyone else having problems signing into the 'Unofficial API'? I've been trying and know 100% its the correct email and password to sign in here and keep getting this error message: " Key: 'LoginRequest.Username' Error:Field validation for 'Username' failed on the 'required' tag...

Has anyone else with an Air Dream Experienced Reduced Charging Capacity?

I suppose this is why I'm only seeing 406 miles when going 100% the other day on my road trip instead of the 410 miles I saw back in December after a full charge on level 2 overnight! I only have 7300 miles on my Pure AWD right now. I haven't run anything to figure out what my current actual...

EA's new strategy of under promising

I can tell you right now I haven't been anywhere near east coast yet (not even in Indiana yet actually. I would have to try to go through my photos I took when charging but I do happen to have this from last week as an example (no it wasn't 212 this time but 196 at 26% SOC is certainly good...

EA's new strategy of under promising

I didn't watch that closely TBH BUT if I remember right, I was at 19% SOC for the 212kW peak (only lasted maybe 3 or 4 minutes as I recall) but the 170 to 180 is typically anywhere from 25 to 35% SOC start. I try to never go below 20% and max of 85%.
