    Philosophical observation

I saw other articles also to support this on battery research. Apparently if you need 40% charge per week for example, the battery will last much longer if you charge 2 times 60 to 80 instead of once 40 to 80. The worst thing you can do is 20 to 60 just because it will charge much faster from 20...

    Philosophical observation

50kW 20min is still 16.5kwh which is 50 to 60 miles in Lucid at highway speed. Besides that is what we get even on a 350kW charger past 80%. So, not too bad. We juts plan a lunch stop and be done with it.

Charging at a friends house with a standard plug

Yes. If you charge for say 12hrs 12kwh you can drive about 36 miles which is close to the average us commute to work.

Charging at a friends house with a standard plug

I was able to charge at 1kw recently in the garage of Airbnb 14hrs 14kwh using the Lucid mobile charger / rangeXchange. That is less than a microwave oven. The plug was at room temp.

    First road trip - TX/OK

I just used plugshare to plan my entire CA to Montreal trip. 72mph HA. Average 3.6 miles per KWh in pure awd. In the US I had to charge only at one chargepoint. I had problem only at one EA in Utah with authentication and lucid gave refund on the credit card charge.

    My two year review.

I see. I guess pure is more efficient. What about range in eqs? Does it come close to GT or even pure?

    My two year review.

I can think of huge list of pros and cons of eqs too. I personally don't like the dash and the design of eqs. It is nowhere near lucid in range and efficiency and that matters more to me than lack of Android Auto or fancy tesla software with so called fsd with just cameras. Now that we have a...

I can tell you that I too have ioniq 5 RWD Limited with EPA range 300+ miles. My wife was able to drive from Fremont to Kettleman City, charge to 80% and then had enough charge to drive it to Calabasas, CA and Pasadena, CA at 65 to 70mph. Total about 400 miles. I did the trip to Montreal as...

    OTA Updates... or lack thereof.

This is why when I go to charge the car or on a long distance trip I like to use my huge Samsung 14inch tablet with phone as a hotspot for passengers. Each may want to hear something different with headphones while the driver pays attention to the road and listens to music in the car.

Planning trip in new Air GT, LA to OH - 2500 miles!

Same here. I like to stop every 3hrs and even in Pure AWD it was no brainer. I found that setting HA to 72 (meaning 70mph) is optimal because you can average 65mph and get a fantastic range. If you have EZ Spare Wheel, remember to pack scissors jack, a small plastic pry tool to remove Aero caps...

I just looked up Mt Tamapais nearby. It is one of those I never visited though I have been here since 1989. So, I am most likely to come. For those interested in a drive after coffee here is the route. https://maps.app.goo.gl/duZyC3QTXdmiQV1PA
