Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

Next question, @borski . . . Do you know if the Gravity cameras are set up to record as dash cams?

    400kW Gravity Charging!

I think that first photo simply got reversed. I blew up the image of the license plate, and you can see that the "L" of "LUCID" on the taillight is backward. Also, I don't think the wheels on the Gravity are directional, but they're showing the same spoke direction in both photos.

    Just Lucidicrous

Speaking of which . . . Kyle Conner and Tom Moloughney have already put up several videos between them testing a "press" Gravity. Has anyone heard what other auto reviewers are testing them and when we might start seeing some reports?

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

As a minivan driver who ordered a Gravity, I'm now very confused. Come to think of it, maybe I always have been. 🥴

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

    Probably generational.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

More butch, too. (Sorry, folks, I just couldn't resist. I'm slapping myself hard across the face as you read this.)

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

It went the way of most threads at some point. However, this one is worth recovering, as you're the only one here who is giving any in-depth insight on what driving a Gravity is like. A few more questions: I assume you're driving on the 22/23" wheels with the new Pirelli P Zero PZ5s? I've...

    Test drive before 2H25.....maybe?

I called the Miami Brickell studio yesterday. They still have no word on when they might get a Gravity, either.

    Charging Beyond the Charge Limit

An overcharge in that range happened to us twice on a road trip last year while plugged in at Level 2 hotel chargers, and I was told by a service tech that it had something to do with the BMS recalibrating. It has not occurred since.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

And it still remains one of their best episodes. Along with the one about the man who elects to spend eternity battling with his insane alter ego, trapped in a bridge between alternate universes in order to keep our universe from self-annihilating. Almost 60 years later I still think of it.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

I worded It clumsily. I meant a fan of the original series, not an original fan of the series. ;) "The Trouble with Tribbles" . . . .

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

    And an original Trekkie?

    Tire/Wheel Discussion

    Oh, I didn't realize. It came up on a google search for Henrik Fisker's next prototype . . . . 🥴

    Choosing gravity GT vs DE

Similar to the situation with the Model S Plaid tri-motor (1,020 hp) and the Air Dream dual-motor (1,111 hp). Lucid motors are incredibly powerful.

    Tire/Wheel Discussion

FWIW, the new Pirelli P Zero PZ5 that will be on the largest Gravity wheels has a considerably squarer shoulder than the PZ4 it updates. This is interesting, as European tire brands usually stay with more rounded shoulders due to the more pronounced crowning of most European roads compared to...

    400kW Gravity Charging!

That could well be. It does point out, though, that access to (some) Tesla Superchargers is not a panacea for Lucid and other non-Tesla EV owners who still need other charge providers to up their games to make unfettered road tripping anywhere in the U.S. viable. In some cases, there needs to...

    400kW Gravity Charging!

I did a quickie comparison to see how Electrify America charging station coverage in the U.S. compares to Tesla Supercharger coverage with the V3 and above chargers that the Gravity can use. And there were some surprises: South Dakota: 1 Supercharger location / 5 EA locations Wyoming: 2...

Out of Spec new YT video: Road to Gravity

I'm more of your mindset on this. I'm relatively indifferent to charging times on road trips. What drives me crazy is arriving at a charging station to find somewhere between half to all the charging posts malfunctioning and/or a stack of cars waiting for the 1 or 2 charge posts that are...

    Tire/Wheel Discussion

We've had enough discussions about this on the forum to make your keyboard fingers bleed. ;) The biggest wheels come with the new Pirelli P Zero PZ5 tires specifically engineered for the Lucid. The first professional review of the generic version of that tire has just today pronounced it the...
