surround view and blind spot view is available on dream drive premium which is only $2k (Q3 release, and in a new car), I wonder if you can get that instead?
because tesla did it this way
imo, DDP isn't even worth the $10k in its current iteration and perhaps, at the rate, will not be worth it for 3-4 years. Dream Drive Premium, on the other hand, for $2k is just adequately worth it
interesting, if you order a new Lucid Air, it is still $10k for DDP and $4k for SSP
perhaps your pricing is if you activate after receiving the car
they have dream drive premium (surround view and blind spot monitoring) starting Q3 '22 for only $2k, wonder if they allow you to get that?
If you confirmed your order in August 2022 prior to passing of IRA, you converted your order and refundable deposit to a "NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT" in an attempt to be possibly be eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit. Although, I have heard of some still being able to receive their refunds...
I spoke with person in charge of development at 3dmats, the frunk and trunk cargo liner have been scanned but they have not moved forward with actual development due to uncertainy of future of Lucid and demand, thus no ETA anymore at this time
wouldn't locking a megathread be contradictory of a having a megathread in the first place?
Lucid is the last major American BEV manufacturer that has not announced using NACS, looks bad.
Even without V4 superchargers, most of Lucid owners will benefit from using Tesla's V3 superchargers since...
It's also useful for prospective customers. So they can see that based on this poll, everyone so far has had some sort of issue, and they can cancel their reservation before they get in too deep!
I'd have to disagree, I think this thread has very valuable info. Just think of all the bearish media vultures salivating over this goldmine.
Lucid's next hit piece: 0% of Lucid owners have been problem-free, all Lucid vehicles plagued with issues?
I dont understand why you would feel bad about Lucid including the hardware. It still wouldn't be useable unless they paid the $14k to unlock access or pay a monthly subscription or however they plan on offering access, so it doesn't make a difference to your purchase.
What I am wondering...
yes but its more doable and profitable to make a sub $80k SUV than it is to make a sub $55k sedan. Tesla's Model 3 base model barely snubs in under $55k, but only by sourcing from China which disqualifies it from the new tax credit. Under the IRA, the originally more expensive Model YP is...
around the 6:00 mark
perhaps licensing tech to other companies to get to a $20k vehicle eventually, but Lucid themselves will stick to the $50k-$250k market for their vehicles
I disagree. Lucid should focus on a midsized SUV under $80k rather than a midsized sedan, purely because a $7,500k tax credit opens up the market tremendously. Lucid already makes their vehicles in America, they Lucid already make their own battery packs and drivetrain in America, and Lucid...
