What does everyone think of one-pedal driving in EVs?

I prefer more nuance. I agree for city driving, strongly disagree for highway. I would still like us consumers to have the option as we know what it is doable. Not unlike allowing you to have a accelerator pedal or multiple message/heat/ventilation/volume levels. Thanks again for this forum

    Fastest EV Charging Study

I think it has more to do with thermal management. I would love for Lucid to match those curves if it can! Maybe algorithm can be changed through software update once the engineers analyze real car data. Taycan did get a tweak a while back.

Drive 200+ miles to Chicago for pickup or have car delivered?

I am assuming you can still refuse delivery (Hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone) . But I would definitely check.

What does everyone think of one-pedal driving in EVs?

I don't think so. There is a degree of energy inefficiency within these systems and some regen energy will be lost as heat. Coasting in a perfect scenario (highway drive) would avoid imperfect regen braking only to havr to apply the throttle again to maintain speed. Leaving efficiency aside -...

    Android Auto Thursday

It is a shame that it is being deprioritized. I got that sense from my DA as well. No approximate ETA at all. Having used AA extensively, it is amazing how convenient it is especially with Google voice search integrated into it. Messaging invluding readback and dictation, calling, switching...

Drive 200+ miles to Chicago for pickup or have car delivered?

Wouldn't you guys want to inspect the vehicle before taking delivery? Do you still do the inspection at home or at the PPF shop?

    Wheel & Tire Size

Many tnanks. This maybe the only 20 vs 21 post on this forum! I am still undecided what to get for my car. Funny story, because of your immense emphasis on psi. I checked the pressures on my test car 19" (49psi recommended) and found them to be 42. I inflated them to a proper pressure andll...

    Wheel & Tire Size

My test drive with 19" was good but still felt some bumps and road vibration. I took a turn at a stop light l, and the tail spun out a little. When you say there is a bid difference, do you mean in car handling or ride comfort?

    Feedback/improvements for the Air!

Thank you @Bobby for a great companion website. I see a list of remaining issues. Is there a hidden list somewhere of "resolved" feature requests? Trying to avoid looking dumb with unnecessary threads , and it would really showcase how much Lucid software has matured. For example, using the...

    Wheel & Tire Size

Here is another bump looking for specifically for help regarding 20 in wheel and how they compare to 21 in terms of durability and driving impressions. I am leaning towards the 20 just based on available tire options, and loose consensus on quality of Michelin vs Perillis. I read the many...

    Feedback/improvements for the Air!

Great topic! Could the OP be updated to reflect the issues that were already addressed by OTA updates vs those still pending. e.g. I know the easy entry feature is already added (although too slow for the exit part) That would be super helpful to a prospective buyer like myself.

    Charging road trip perspective

I am sure personal experiences color opinions. My situation is a case in point. I decided to try living with EV by renting a tesla model 3 on a recent Florida summer trip. The airbnb didn't have a charger , but there were a couple of tesla superchargers ~20 min away. I thought to myself "we...

    ‘22 New Inventory Deals: $110k GT’s, 0% interest

According to my SA. It is a limited # offer, not regional. But they are not advertising it. They probably did it to clear inventory, and maybe as a response to recent Tesla price drop. Still hoping for some answer to my questions above.

    ‘22 New Inventory Deals: $110k GT’s, 0% interest

The OP info is correct. It's only available for purchase/loan. Lucid 2022 Vin # switched to 2023 around November 2022. My understanding is that there are no changes software/hardware wise between the two model years. And no changes anticipated for 2024 either. Is that a correct assumption...
