New 2025 AT - have to reboot every ~2-3 days

That's an excessive amount of rebooting. Unfortunately I don't believe Lucid has an answer for the audio issue just yet. Here's a thread where we've discussed the audio cutouts - https://lucidowners.com/threads/audio-issues.11483/. It's been suggested that we keep a log of when the problem...

RESOLVED Can anyone actually get ahold of service?

That's a pretty crummy experience. I've only had one critical service issue which rendered the car marginally drive-able and Lucid was great about setting me up with a rental while I waited a few days for parts to arrive. I will say that I have a non-critical service open to address a rattling...

    Drive System Fault Megathread

your service is probably completed, but fwiw i had this exact scenario. I got the call on Thurs, they hooked me up with a rental and said they'll come get it when they have the part in. They picked my car up on Tues around 7a and had it back to me the same day by 4p.

    Software Improvements and Features Suggestions

Don't even get me started on GM's OTA clusterF. Every OTA landed my '24 Canyon in the shop with issues ranging from dead screens, constant crashes etc.. And good luck getting anything resembling release notes from GM. I stopped applying them once I felt the software was reasonably stable, new...

    Car towed back to Chicago

That's a crummy first experience, definitely hurts that you're 250 miles away. Make sure to mention that bumper scrape to the service folks too. Keep us updated on the progress. Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you. I'll say I've used a few different level 2 brand chargers and haven't...

    What does “Ready” mean?

Many EVs display "Ready" because drivers are accustomed to the classic ICE "creep" behavior where the vehicle moves on it's own when the foot brake is released. When "Hold" is displayed it indicates that the brakes are being applied by the car to hold the vehicle in position. When you hit the...

Back of the screen EXTREMELY hot

Wouldn't hurt to dial your local service center and discuss it with them. I've no complaints about the hvac in my '25 AT. That being said I think I'll be investing in an infrared coating on the windshield to try and mitigate the sun. I've done this on other cars and it can really make a difference.

    Audio Issues

I've been having this issue on my '25 AT as well, wish I saw this thread sooner. I will say I have not encountered it since update 2.6.11, although I haven't put many miles on the car since then. To confirm my issue aligns with that being discussed in this thread - when my audio cuts out, the...

Things I miss about my 2020 Tesla S Long Range

I also miss physical buttons for vehicle functions. Unfortunately this is becoming a trend across the industry; the exterior lighting controls for my '24 GMC Canyon are touch screen only. I agree it's dangerous in many instances.

    SSP Woofer Buzz

I reached out to my local service center last week to get my sound system (non-pro) inspected for similar problem, bass rattle on certain songs. The remote tech took 30 minutes to confirm and told me replacement hardware is on backorder. He speculated this part is in high demand for replacement...

Days Since The Last Major Feature Release... Yikes!

And he's not even a Lucid employee! On a serious note though, I'd prefer fully-baked feature updates that don't break existing functionality or introduce new problems even if that means longer periods between updates. The whole "move fast and break things" mentality is cute and fun for your...

Nice choice! I see you've got the stealth wheels, did you go with the full stealth appearance package? I think fathom blue with the stealth package looks absolutely boss. Gotta post a pic once you take delivery!

After over a year of ownership, I still don't understand the entry/approach software of this car

Wholly agree, the key situation is one of my major issues with the car. Bluetooth is just not up to the task. I can't imagine a normal, non-enthusiast type person putting up with this.

    Apple Car Play Button

Thanks for the info. Hopefully "resolved" as in, back to a clean UI with no extraneous settings on the home screen. I have the AA services disabled on my devices, as far as the Air is concerned it's just a regular old Bluetooth device.

    Heads-up display

I thought the HUD thing was silly until I had a GMC Canyon with the feature. Now I'm really missing it in the Air. Strange decision by Lucid to skip the feature given the market class it's supposed to be in, imho.

    Apple Car Play Button

Finally updated to version 2.6! My mood lighting is reliably functional now, and the audio system seems mildly improved... but there appears to be a button for Apple's Car Play software on the home screen of my glass cockpit panel. I'm quite sure it wasn't there prior to 2.6. Is everyone else on...

    How is the software?

Came from a PS2, the software in mine was horrendous in comparison to my experience with the AT thus far. There's something seriously wrong with the development practices going on at Polestar. I'd never experienced regression bugs as badly in any software, automotive or otherwise. I think you'll...
