Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

Too bad they can paint one in chrome before they could paint one in Lunar Titanium 😢

It's posted just above. It's a Chrome gravity.

    Gravity [Dream Edition] Reservations Tracker

In my experience (as a GT order holder), I had to be signed in to my Lucid account (which I created when I ordered my GT) in order to see the DE. I assumed that to be true for everyone - ie you need to be signed in to be given shown the DE option. I think the DE was rolled out first to GT...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Just curious - why would mods close a thread that is obviously so popular? we don't have a lot of info to go on, and I guess maybe it's veered off topic, but isn't engagement good?

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

This does look like more of a marketing launch, I'm excited to see it! Hopefully they've unshackled marketing a little bit because they are finally close to being able to deliver? Fingers crossed.....

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Moving a product as big and complex as an automobile from design to manufacturing is a massive undertaking. There is tons to be done to stand vendors up, do PPAPs and first article stuff, and in automotive I am sure there is a need to do far more comprehensive validation and verification, crash...

lol, 10 would be more Gravities than they can currently produce.

Encounter Extraordinary - NYC March 28-30

I got the same thing. It is so weird - it's like an invitation, sort of, but it has virtually no details. Honestly it doesn't even really promise that a Gravity will be there. Usually an "invite" comes with some kind of other information. I clicked on it, thinking it would take me to a...

Possible they’re borrowing one of the 9 friends and family units hence the rationale for not letting it take additional wear and tear? None of the reasons why they’d disallow people from getting into it (if that’s in fact true) are encouraging from a production timeline perspective.

I would say more that you could only add a new Dream order that was independent of your GT order. My SA said "You can move your gravity order to the dream via your portal" and "You can move the order back and forth from a dream to gt" but this was definitively not true. For me, at least. I...

    Gravity Seating Configuration

You might be waiting a long time. Others are more knowledgeable and more in the loop on rumor mill around 6 seat configurations, but they have not announced a 6-seat config, the rumor mill is mostly that it is dead for now, and the 5- and 7-seat configurations they HAVE announced are, well...

I don't agree with the OP's 40% odds and I think the actual odds are a lot closer to the >99% you cite. That said, I think his point was about Intel's "Intel Inside" general go-to-market strategy, which was to specialize in one thing (chips) and not the whole end product (at the time, PCs)...

well now I'm irritated! Lol. I guess you're more specialer than I am. Oh well, *shrug.* I even have TWO Gravities on order! (not necessarily by design - it's just how poorly thought out the pre-ordering thing is)

I'm assuming it's regional - ie if your sales center is not NYC, you didn't get the email? I didn't get the email. I am jealous. If they have one at Tysons (Washington DC) and I don't get invited, I will be bummed. I haven't even seen a prototype, so I'd take that. But man, the sales effort...

    Gravity Release Timeline

My Lucid SA has been pushing me very hard to take an Air on a short-term lease as a tide-over until Gravity is ready, but they've all been 18-month minimum leases. It's smart of him to do that - sell what you can to a qualified and interested potential customer if you don't have exactly what...

Yes, I think Lucid is heavily, heavily incentivizing Air sales with really attractive lease deals. At launch, I doubt Gravity deals (especially when dealing with the pre-orders backlog) will be nearly as good.
