I would charge during the day and save the batteries for nightly consumption. The sweet spot for me is about 9am - 5pm proving there is no overcast 😊 Plus I charge at work for free .

No batteries. I could not afford that😊. So during peak production the solar is producing about 12kwh . With the Lucid charging total consumption is about 11.7kwh ( according to Enphase monitoring app). That's with the house aircon off since it's cold now 😊.

So I charged up my Touring for the first time on my Wallbox 48 amp home charger…..The unit is connected to a 60 amp circuit….I really wanted to get the Lucid unit but the cost to upgrade to the 100 amp circuit was crazy….i am getting about 44 miles an hour…And this is getting powered by my solar...

I was thinking on just doing the front only... But it seem like doing the entire car will be worth it.

I sold my Tesla yesterday and should be picking up my Touring today at the Houston Service center…i guess they are still waiting on their ding repair guy to fix the small ding by the charge port….

My touring model finally arrived Friday morning at the Houston service center….I made sure to send payment a day before via Fedex, that way they would get it before the weekend …The service manager said once the deal is funded , I can take delivery of the car….I was able to get to check the car...

I ordered a set couple days ago. I am just waiting . I went by the service center to check out the car. It's truly a remarkable looking car in person. The vehicle had a small ding by the charge port which was the only flaw I noticed. Hopefully it should be ready by Early next week.

I am planning to play stereo and build off the base system….I am assuming my installer will be able to capture a full range signal at the factory amp?
