You may have already tried these steps but I’d delete the connection and reconnect , reboot the access point and router, try a different SSID and a different band… If none of that works and you have access to any logs from the access point and router there may be something helpful.

Mine is going in this week to hopefully get the frunk latches sorted-4th attempt. You definitely want to get this resolved. If you end up with a stuck front that won't close you'll enter the dreaded turtle mode with a speed limit under 40 mph.

Could you use the 12volt outlet in the trunk? Granted you could get into the car…

If there was anything in there I needed I get it open. And if the car went into turtle mode due to a stuck frunk on a road trip and I didn’t have a loaner of some kind or accommodations within a couple hours I’d let my legal and PR team off their leashes.

I gave up trying to get mine fixed. My solution is to use key fob and open frunk twice. 1st time releases drivers side latch, second time releases passenger side. What is really strange is that sometime the fob will open both sides while the button on the dash never does.

I know that seems logical but given the cash burn any loses on these lease returns will be insignificant. But who knows. I’m hopeful that they allow me to extend my lease. This would be the easiest way to avoid dealing with what to do with the car with the least amount of effort.
