Hi, I can see the features list of Dream Drive in Lucid website but does anyone know if the new highway assist feature part of Dream Drive or Drive Pro? I would assume it will part of Dream Drive like Tesla free Auto Pilot but I could be wrong.

I would think so because if you compare the price of the Pure to Model S long rang, $87.4k+$5.5k for dual motor+$10k for the Dream Drive Pro (similar to Tesla free Auto Pilot)= $103k which is close to Model S price. However, we will have metal roof with Lucid.

Wrong! Tesla had LiDAR in all cars before 2021 models. They exclude the LiDAR after this date when they developed their software version to depend on camera only to save the cost. All 2020 Tesla models and beyond equipped with AP3 hardware compute with no cost whether you buy FSD or not.

You brought up a good point! Tesla did have to add the LiDAR or other needed hardware in all cars (2021 and below) for free but they played it in very smart way. They are recording and training all the data from drivers for FSD development. Eventually, they will make a lot of money from those...

Tesla had the LiDAR unit included in all Tesla cars back in 2019.

I would encourage that and it will be a smart move to make those customers with the existing reservations love their cars to promote them. BTW, Tesla did the same thing in the beginning and offered free FSD to many customers until 2019.
