    Any Good Charger?

I intend to install a small sub panel at each one of my two garage bays for one NEMA 14-50 50 Amps outlet and for one hardwired charger 60 Amps or larger -- not skimping on anything. I'll feed these panels with 125 Amps to prepare for the future. My house service is 200 A -- and is sufficient...

Just got your Air? Consider buying this stuff

Perhaps one in passanger door too. And a small tarp for glass protection and gloves. If the side windows are the type getting into 1000 pieces, you may have glass all over your lap and seat.

60 amp circuit on NEMA 14-50

A tyical redidental breaker also called 80 % breaker can only do 50 a non continuously ... it can do 80 % continously. If you ecxeeed this itll heat fatigue .... melt ...disform. However, therere 100 % breakers and they can do 100 a continuously. However, ot often used for residental. And the...

60 amp circuit on NEMA 14-50

The adapter is just adapting from one pin config to another and doesnt do anything to adapt currents. You can do what you did but must see so your load doesnt draw more than 30 a non continously (three hours) or 80 % of 30 a continously since your breaker is still 30 a. However, its good to...

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

I confirmed 3/30/22. Agt silver. DA called early april saying car was now in production and will be ready in July. Based on people's experiances before and around that time in this forum ive made a point not calling or emailing lucid and they havent done that either. So, total one call with...

    Cooling the garage?

I think redundant ac units are needed and since it seems lucid is running the battery fans even when not charging, a generator back-up for the ac is also needed if power goes out. An added benefit is that the generstor can be used to charge lucid during power outages.

    Tax credits

I think for anyone buying a $140,000 car plus some accessories, ~$2000 insurance, installing charger/receptacle in garage, etc., $7500 isnt as important. As for myself, Ive put aside a $160000 part in my savings account since beginning of the year to be ready whenever the car comes.

Lucid’s Complete Stoppage of All Customer Delivery’s….What Do You Think?

Agree. Already in the 1990s each car had an electronic memory device attached to its tram the moment the first piece of sheet metal was placed on the tram by robots. It could be read from and written to wirelessly as the tram moved through the factory. It contained all car info including...

    Delivery Delays

It's because they hired 1960s designers before cup holders, usb, cell phones, ac, people putting water bottles in the door sides, garage door remotes, center console for arm rest, remote door locks, etc. were common or invented. For computerized system bootup they hired steam engine designers...
