Unless the car resides in some outlandish environments, I’d expect a ~25% real world loss for a normal reasonable driver. The battery on your iPhone is always trying to learn your patterns so it can optimize use but it can’t predict when you’ll want to spend 3 hours streaming Netflix at 4k...

I’m no physics major but how would elevation play a role in EV range since it does intake car to move it? ICE cars, sure.

I would personally like using stronger metals too. If it’s a weight consideration, I find that a bit bogus given how heavy it already. It is a battery car after all. If it’s a cost factor I can understand.

Tesla just announced another round of price hikes across the board and anything decent is within striking distance of the Pure (with rebates). Glad I got my Pure reserved before the hike. Seems like a bargain now - kinda

I have my deposit down for a Pure but on the fence w/ the i4 (not sure which version yet - eDrive40 or M50). They're not really comparable but just an idea that's being toyed with.

I get the feeling my Pure won't be ready for another year. I put in my order in April. 🤣 hopefully by then all big bugs would be squashed.

How much % battery retention do the 10 year old Tesla Models have now? To lose 30% over 10 years / 100k mi from ideal charging habits is kinda bad but it's an technical challenge all EV makers have. Sucks.
