    Sapphire 10/10 - Top Gear

I love reading about the sapphire and it makes me, as an AGT owner, proud to own a related vehicle. It also makes me think about buying one but I just struggle with how to "justify" it. It's impossible to appreciate more than 50% of the car's capabilities on the road and taking it the track...

    Annual Service

I confirmed with my SC that getting the annual services are not mandatory to keep the warranty.

    Annual Service

I bought wiper inserts on Amazon. The actual wiper assembly I have not changed myself as those are expensive and are more than just the wipers as they are heated and have the washer fluid built in.

    Annual Service

I've been advised to book my annual service by my SC. Does anyone know whether it will affect my warranty if I don't service it? With my model X I serviced it once in 4 years as it wasn't actually necessary to keep the warranty, and I looked at the service bulletin and it didn't seem relevant to...

    Fastest EV Charging Study

one of the things not taken into account in this study is that P3 used the EPA consumption values which often do not reflect "real world". For instance, over 12k miles on my AGT I would say, on average, my "distance driven" is about 80% of the "decrease in mileage/range" shown on my car. A bit...

    Creaking from Driver's Seat

my sounds were coming from where the hard shell in the back was meeting/joining the chair. I isolated it by going to the back and pressing the seat back, back and forth. It's much more noticeable while sitting in the driver's seat than it is in the back seat, even when moving the seat back...

Frunk bifold divider solution improvement #2

how did you get the magnets to stick onto the divider? Just using the tape onto the felt?

    Creaking from Driver's Seat

I've had it twice - once in the driver's seat and they lubricated and the other in the passenger seat and they replaced it. Currently, the driver's side is squeeking again so it will need to go back. Hopefully the won't have to replace it again as I've had both front seats replaced already :(

Consumer Reports rating of the Touring in Aug 2023 issue.

I think the CR report is justified. I happily own an AGT but I can say that I would not recommend it to my friends or family if they didn't live near a service centre due to poor reliability. My car has been to the SC almost every 2 months. Not for major issues but lot of issues nonetheless...

    Floor mats!

Finally received my tuxmat for my GT. Bessie the fact that they only come in black, I'm very please with their fit and finish.

    emergency braking in reverse

This did not happen with my previous model X or Porsche cayenne nor does it happen with my current eqs SUV. This is unique to my lucid...at least my particular circumstance with backing into garage rather than cross traffic so I don't believe this is a universal adas issue.

    emergency braking in reverse

I read the thread on emergency braking for cross traffic but I am exeriencing something different. Periodically, and more so recently, I am experiencing emergency braking when backing into my garage and slowly approaching the shelves in the back. It's quite frustrating as I am backing up very...

    Sapphire in September

My opinion is that lucid could sell more sapphires if they made enough visual changes for it to be obviously noticeable. I'm not embarrassed to say this but I buy cars not only based on performance, ride, etc but also largely on looks and if I'm going to pay significantly more for a model, I...

    Changing wheels 200$?

I have 2 sets of tpms... 1on winter and 1 set for summer wheels. Each time I change wheels I need to pay lucid to program that tpms back into the car. At this point, lucid told me the car can only store 1 set of tpms codes so when you change wheels, those wheels codes need to be reloaded back...

    New forged wheels

I'm sure they aren't aerodynamic and will ding a few kms off my total mileage but they look great. Given that the car's range is generally pretty high already, I accept the reduced mileage for aesthetics :) Now I'm debating powder coating my calipers red...

    New forged wheels

I bought them Electric Forged online. They buy them directly from a Chinese manufacturer. Turned out very nice and much cheaper than buying forged HRE or BBS which are over $10k

    New forged wheels

I ordered a set of forged 21" wheels in March and it recently arrived. They were custom ordered to the exact same specs as oem so I transferred the stock tires and tpms over. I forgot to weigh them but carrying both, I'd estimate they were about 8lbs lighter each. Overall, I'm very happy with...

Yes but I'm waiting for my forged 21" wheels to arrive so I can change over to the pirlelli oem summer tires

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

The weather here is getting warmer so I've been able to test out my range outside of cold weather insults. winter - 19" aftermarket, non-aero wheels, Bridgestone LM winter tires, 49 psi, temps of -5C to +2C, average 3.8 km/kwh (2.38 mi/kwh), 50% hwy @ 70-72 mph and 50% city, max regen, smooth...
