    Pirelli 21" Tires

Sorry, I strongly disagree. What you say is true for fork lifts tires but not passenger tires. While the load carrying capacity may go up slightly up, everything else, above a few psi, goes down: contact patch, handling, wear, ride. Every tire engineering site I have seen says 3-5 psi is the...

    Pirelli 21" Tires

Great, that is still best practice (using four floor jacks) in an automotive garage that does not have a lift. Having worked in Porsche Audi dealers in college, it was done for efficiency: all 4 wheels dismounted, then all 4 tires removed, 4 reinstalled, 4 balanced, 4 remounted. We used 4...

    Issues with my vehicle

Go to your climate control screen. Turn on all three outputs: high/windshield, middle and floor. AC defaults to the mid and feet. The windshield output, made for defrost, cools your head. I now use the AC keep on mode all the damn time when I am out and about. It uses almost no juice...

    Pirelli 21" Tires

Audi engineers told me the puck is just a buffer to keep the jack from gouging the plastic underbody, and the half moon indentations in their lift point is just to insure proper line up of their puck with the jack cradle. Since the floor lifting point is flush with the floor pan, it can be...

    Pirelli 21" Tires

My Lucid is far more robust when I use a Bruins puck. You can try to use a Ranger or Islanders puck at your peril.

    Pirelli 21" Tires

That is correct. Not just Lucid, but Audi, BMW, Porsche. Just insure you use the designated lift point. I have seen Audi's and Porsche's severally frame damaged when a tire jock misses the welded lift point and lifts from an unsupported section of the floor pan.

Any flat hard rubber puck will work. Like a standard hockey puck. The red puck is urethane and made especially for Audi lift points. It has the lip to fit into a notch in the Audi lift point. The black is a standard hockey puck. Have used the black puck on my Air three times. Works...

Does LUCID provide service information for VIN?

I called Service, not CS, after I bought, and was given the service history.

Lucid Home Charging Station - Starts at 75 MPH, Degrades to 30 MPh

Hard wired ChargePoints are rated to use a 70 or 80 amp breaker, but even with those big breakers, the unit only allows you to set a max output setting of no more than 50 amps, the rated max for that unit. versus 48 amps output on a 60 breaker. That's why CP recommends and most use the 60...

    Avon Colorado Lucid Owners Meetup

You are making me hungry. Had breakfast at Northside yesterday. We live a few miles up the mountain from Northside in Wildridge. Brand new EA chargers just opened in Moab. The Glenwood EA had a great vibe, as there are often EV factory teams there, doing the famous Denver Glenwood Denver...

    Car Mats

Yes they do. But it's semi hidden. You need to select a Touring GT and not Touring as your car. Then all the frunk and trunks show up as an option. Tuxmats screwed up their drop down menus. The same Tuxmats frunk and trunk mats fit all our cars, GT, Touring,Pure. Only the second row...

    Servicing after 15K miles

My mother, rest her soul, would tell friends how one morning, when I was in high school, she found me passed out asleep on the kitchen table: SU carb body still in one hand, it's piston in the other. We used to call British auto wiring "spaghetti." Get it wet, and it fell apart.

Setting points. I still have the feeler guages. Remember the horrible Lucas ignition on British cars? Popular MG bumper sticker: "Lucas Electrics and Refridgeration - the reason why the British drink warm beer"

Also, will do any open service campaigns - I had two for them to do. They also check all fluids (two coolant reservoir's), including a check of the brake fluid for contaminant/water content. And they hook the car to a computer and do a full system scan of all modules for communication and...

NEMA vs Lucid Charging Station vs Tesla Wall Connector

Most of the country does not use non-utility installed, external surge protectors, guessing due to inside locations of service equipment. They are usually connected. Some utility installed surge protectors come off the meter lugs. Rare otherwise. Not making a joke, but I wonder how anything...

EA Savings report possible for Lucid?

Failed P and C happened to me for the first time after 8 months: I had to open the Lucid app, the EA button was illuminated, I hit it and it took me to a screen where I picked what pedestal I was at. Charged perfectly.

I disagree. I made the same mistake. Was told, you need to actually book an Annual Maintenance. I Took mine in for wipers recall and two service campaigns. They did not do the annual. Told me to wait two or three more months.

Five months since the in-service date? Or 5 months of your ownership? Yes, call or email Lucid service and see what they say. You need to reach out to them. I just did mine, 14 months and 9000. The first annual, from what they said, is not super critical to a certain time or mileage. I...
