    Drive system fault

Got it. I’ll check with service. I was able to park for a few hours and then drive home without incident so we’ll see what they say. Wonder if they can pull diagnostics remotely.

2.0.15 - The MOAU - Mother Of All Updates

My Cayenne did what you’re saying. It wouldn’t unlock until I grabbed the handle. On the other end of the spectrum, the Model X door opens for you when you walk up. Not unlocks. But actually swings open. If there’s something in the way, it just pops open a little. If not, it opens enough for...

Need honest feedback from current owners

I had my Toyota 4Runner engine die while going about 35 mph on a street. Oh wait, that was because I ran out of gas because I’m a moron.

    Drive system fault

So you’re saying since I’ve had it happen, I’m likely to have it happen again until I get the HV battery and Wunderbox replaced? Will it keep getting resolved with reboots or will it get progressively worse until I’m disabled? So how does Lucid make the determination that I need the HV...

    Drive system fault

Understood. I think one of the problems is this is a fault that covers a wide range of problems. Like a Check Engine Light. Some major, some significantly less so. From what I can gather, people have seen some of the following that triggers this fault. 1. 12v battery issue 2. Motor failure...

    Drive system fault

Got it. Applying my Tesla experience where it doesn't belong. Thanks for the clarification. One difference is that I set it to navigate to the station. Also, these chargers were a different model than what I've used before. Forgot to take a picture. And of course, it was the 350kw charger.

    Drive system fault

Coming from a Tesla with only 230 miles of range, I'm extremely happy with the speed of the 150kw chargers. Especially with a low SOC. Getting 200-300 miles of range in 20-30 minutes is awesome.

    Drive system fault

Add me to the list of people that just had a major problem with this combination. My first scary experience which fortunately, didn’t end that badly. Was my first road trip with the Lucid. About 2 hour away from home, decided to try the EA charger. Mainly just to test it and see if it worked...

    Range Performance SF to LA

This is brutal to hear. I was going to suggest just using something other than Electrify America but I just looked on PlugShare and not a lot of alternatives on that route. Have to hope Chargepoint or EVGo build out their network more. Given the choice, I'd be willing to pay for a 'fill up'...

    Range Performance SF to LA

Unfortunately, I have found the Lucid app to be very inaccurate on status of chargers. For EA and others. It usually has way more chargers in use than reality. At two stations I tried last week, it was saying all chargers in use and when I got there, they were all available. I’ve found EA...

    Payment Declined

Since 0.18 update, have gotten plug and charge to work the last few times at EA stations. The 350kw chargers at this particular station just don't ever want to work. But several of the 150kw ones are plug and charge now whereas before, they were declined then activated at the app. It's an...

    New improved lane assist

I'll refer Referring you to a longer thread I started in a different sub forum that may be helpful. I just posted some pics today as to what my screen looks like. https://lucidowners.com/threads/2-0-18-highway-assist-experiences.3363/

    2.0.18 - Highway Assist Experiences

Agree completely. I'm quite annoyed that Tesla continues to sell FSD as I don't think that happens within the lifetime of the car. Am very happy I passed on that 'upgrade'.

What happened to the Saudi and lucid.....weird

I read it as diversification. They don't need to license Lucid tech as they already own it. With Lucid building manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, they push ahead on that front. Meanwhile, this is an opportunity to partner with one of the top manufacturing companies in the world in...

    2.0.18 - Highway Assist Experiences

Interesting. My rating was based on 3 things. ACC, lane centering, and availability. I drove thousands of miles with the Tesla in HA mode and it always did a great job of maintaining speed and distance. Both systems seem to have trouble on lane centering when passing entrance ramps...

    2.0.18 - Highway Assist Experiences

If you're in Highway Assist Mode, the screen will show Highway Assist even when not activated. If you're on a road that doesn't allow HA, when you activate it, it will tell you it's not available and then will switch to ACC. It's a little confusing b/c you can be driving through an area that...

    2.0.18 - Highway Assist Experiences

I don't think it's based on how you hold the wheel. I think it's based on movement of the wheel. Meaning, there's no grip sensors anywhere on the wheel. So it uses the motion to sense that you're still holding it/ paying attention. At least that's the way my Tesla worked and from my limited...

    2.0.18 - Highway Assist Experiences

Not ACC. Highway Assist in stop and go traffic on an interstate. If by divided highway, you mean interstate, then yes. I did not test stop and go on a US highway (divided road with traffic lights). On the interstate, it worked great. Handled the stop and go traffic without issue and even started...
