How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

My pleasure- I was curious too. But one thing I'm pretty convinced of (and that's why I took Kyle's range test with a grain of salt..) is that you'll never recover the energy expended going up on the downhill leg. Even in a virtually frictionless environment, it's never going to balance out...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Ok- here's another data point: We picked up our new AGT yesterday in Denver (19" wheels, stock). Wanted to take it for a spin (of course), and headed up into the mountains. Total mileage about 300, crazy amount of vertical gain (+/- 10,000 ft with a net gain of about 1,500 ft.). Average on the...

    EA Problems

Ditto to the answer above from SDHacker - if you already get the 'payment declined' message on the dispenser, you need to unplug and start again. And yes, it might take a couple of tries. On the bright side, I got some pretty quick charging- eventually.

    Colorado

Picked up the car yesterday, and delivery etc. went fine. DA is Eduardo Gonzalez, who was relocated to Denver from California last month (he's been with Lucid since May, I think?) Car looked great, but he'd already found some cosmetic issues (one weird one is a missing piece of trim on the floor...

    EA Problems

After picking up the car yesterday, we drove into the mountains for a maiden voyage. Didn't need to charge, but stopped at the EA station in Frisco Co. anyway, to check out the process. First two tries got a "Payment Declined" message. Called service, but in the meantime, my wife was able to get...

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

The day has finally arrived! Took delivery of Cosmos Silver, Tahoe, 19" wheels. VIN (and notification that it was out of production) was assigned Sep 27. Generally in great shape (missing a piece of trim on the rear passenger door opening- already ordered and a service ticket issued, and charge...

    Colorado

Thanks all of you- I'll show this thread to my wife, and hopefully gain a little peace (Especially with @ColoradoKent getting service all the way out on the Western Slope). We're in Colorado Springs, so not too far from Denver in a TOD situation (which will hopefully never happen...) I did...

    Colorado

Would enjoy that. At some point we'll have enough in the state to field a basketball team (with no subs)? Overall just excited, and not too bothered by a lot of the negative stuff I read here. But... my wife keeps asking what we'll do if something goes wrong with our (very) expensive new car...

    Colorado

So we're scheduled to get our AGT (Silver, 19") this Saturday in Denver. Super excited, etc. etc, but wanted to try and connect with other CO owners to share delivery experience. So far I have been underwhelmed by the level of support from our local SA and DA folks. All of the original people we...

    Registration in Colorado

Oh hell no. Not gonna put anything on my windshield. And… speaking to several other CO EV owners, nobody (1) put the sticker on or (2) faced any repercussions.

    Registration in Colorado

I always thought it was a shame that California EVs - notably Teslas- had that horrible ugly sticker on the rear fender that allowed use of the HOV lanes. Seems like technology could fix that..

    Registration in Colorado

Not sure- My BIL and daughter both got EVs this year (Kona and Ioniq5), and neither of them got fancy license plates. When I went through our purchase, we confirmed with our California-based DA that Lucid would handle all the state registration and licensing matters, and they asked us if we...

Hey- I see you're another Colorado Lucidean (we're in Colorado Springs). Don't know what kind of...

Hey- I see you're another Colorado Lucidean (we're in Colorado Springs). Don't know what kind of experience you've had so far, but gotta say- not thrilled by ours so far. You might have seen in the Delivery Thread that we got our VIN on 9/27, and were also told that the car was out of production...

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

Another update- Finally heard from a local DA (I guess? Nobody we've ever dealt with before) Car is headed to Colorado, and will be here... soon? They need to do a local prep and *might* be able to deliver it by Tuesday. But for sure no later than next Saturday the 24th. They must be going...

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

Should have been clearer- I got the call with my VIN assignment the same day we were told that the car had left production and was on its way to Millbrae. So since that day (9/27) not a peep from anyone- certainly not anyone in Colorado

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

i'm getting the sense that deliveries (and problems or lack thereof associated with the deliveries) are very much location-specific. We had our VIN assignment on Sep 27, and our de-facto DA in California, Ross, told us that the car had been shipped from AZ to Millbrae for final prep etc. Papers...

Picking up my Cosmos Silver GT this week

Woo Hoo! My exact color combination... and I think we made the right choice. Your pictures are amazing (and in my experience, the car looks even better in person) Expecting delivery of ours next week!

Quantum Grey vs. Cosmos Silver survey

That's the scheme we ordered- should be able to give you a first-hand report in about a week (!!!!) Papers signed, money transferred, waiting for delivery from CA

    Unexpected test drive this weekend

Well, maybe things have changed- we got our test drive back in July, and it was almost entirely on the highway (with a colon-clenching sprint acceleration to merge...) Probably 10-15 miles. Delivery of our AGT is scheduled for next week...

    Cosmos Silver Thoughts?

Well, I'll be getting mine in a week or so, so I'll let you all know.
