    2.1.10 OTA Update (7/24/23)

Agreed, a good UX has a UI which is clear (easy to use, avoids obfuscation, is non-confusing, etc)... it makes sense that there are config settings which are "car wide". It is not unreasonable for those car wide settings to only be settable on the "owner's profile", but then all of the other...

    Portable tire inflator

Agreed. Given its claimed 40 minute run time per charge mine was at about 25% or so (not unreasonable). Its doc claims that when fully charged the charge status light will go from flashing (charging) to solid (charged)... after several hours I gave up on it ever declaring itself charged (it was...

    Portable tire inflator

We just bought an Airmoto (about $85-ish): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094DMH7ZM/ref=pe_386300_440135490_TE_simp_item_image so far we are pleased: - The hose attaches by screwing onto the valve stem, and can do so thru the original 19" wheel cover's small holes. No need to remove the 19" wheel...

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

Background processing should be started at phone boot. The mobile key uses bluetooth and background process. The mobile key does not reliably work on android. Android "open apps" other than the 1 or 2 on the screen are not active or background... this is just a means to optimize app start/restart.

Well, there's your problem... He spells it "Mike"...

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

This update includes locking & unlocking. This thread includes much discussion of locking & unlocking. Despite your claims (here & on YOUR website) otherwise: Mobile keys on the S22 line does NOT work for all. Lucid has admitted to me that this is the case.

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

Not for everyone... the mobile key function on our s22 & s22+ only work if the app is actively open.

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

This got me thinking... we know that these uploads are occurring when the car is configured to use (and connected to) WiFi, but we(I) don't know if they occur when on the cell network... we also have observed that being connected to a WiFi point seems to increase the vampire drain (rough numbers...

    Vampire drain

I recently turned off wifi (no other known changes) and my daily vampire drain went from about 3/4% per day to about 1/4% per day... Surprised me... lots of devices (e.g. cell phones) do both for low costs (I'd expect staying on the cell net to be more energy expensive than having wifi turned on...

    Installing 19" aero inserts?

    I now have leather gloves in the car ;-)... though I worry about both the reported scratches and the potential for breaking the covers... )-;

    Installing 19" aero inserts?

Agreed... the other cap allows usage of a screwdriver to remove them (as we can't get our fingers on the current caps firmly enough to remove them). While that cap CAN be used (by inverting it) to remove the cores, they don't have to be used for this. Extending the cap or stem too far (by other...

    Installing 19" aero inserts?

Thanks for your empathy on our concerns on this matter... The first time I did so I ended up with a 1/4" x 1/8" gash in a finger and scrapes up and down my hand...

    Installing 19" aero inserts?

I was/am thinking about replacing the caps with something like these, though I recall reading of someone using a valve extender and ending up with 4 flats when a car wash ripped the stems out of the wheel...

    Installing 19" aero inserts?

It seems that there is a lot about the car that is "designed to never be taken off" (negatively impacting reparability and maintainability). I find that (for us) the valve stem caps can not be removed with the original 19" wheel covers on... there is an old saying in software that seems to apply...

    Mobile key unlock without knowing

I don't think I labeled it as anything more than than a report of observed facts and that there were some surprising behaviors (such as being able to determine that the fob was not "in the car")... and to point to the implicit case that these 3 keys (iPhone, Android (of many different flavors)...
