    Lack of car haulers and/drivers

If the Riviera Beach Service Center is indicative of the others, they don't have any room on their lots for more cars awaiting PDI.

Derek Jenkins, Senior Vice President of Design and Brand at Lucid Motors. 11/18/2022 to ask me anything on Reddit /r/Lucid

Why do I get the feeling that Derick's secretary was actually doing the typing?

    Longest Point-to-Point Road Trip?

Oh Man! Please don't fail to use your AGT because of issues with EA. There are too many other options out there for minimal costs.

Your Single most important software issue

I feel your pain and I don't have my AGT yet. The "free" EA charging for my Taycan has been about 50/50 for the two years I've owned it. The chargers are out of order or fail to connect. I don't use them very often but as of late I don't waste my time. I have recently used chargers from FPL...

C8 or Lucid Air - time to decide

Yeah! This thread kinda went off the rails. But the OP (mr_rhythm) ask for opinions from members with experience with both cars. It's hard to do that without stating the differences in available options and performance. One thing about car forums is that everyone drinks the Kool-Aid. Sometimes...

C8 or Lucid Air - time to decide

Most people who have reviewed and owned C8s say the same thing about it. Different yes but outstanding, absolutely. I am in no way saying the Lucid is primitive. Although I did say old fashion valve system. I first reserved my Lucid in September of 2020 but cancelled after delays in production...

C8 or Lucid Air - time to decide

I guess you can consider electronically controlling a valve as magnetic but true magnetic ride control does not use valves. It varies the viscosity of the fluid magnetically. It was developed by the Delphi division of General Motors and initially used by Cadillac. Delphi was eventually sold to...

C8 or Lucid Air - time to decide

As a follow-up the "one" was for the Android Auto/Apple Car Play with a caveat for the "future update". The suspension control system in the Lucid Air is not electromagnetic. It uses Bilstein Damptronic Sky dampers which still use old fashioned valve systems to control rebound and dampening...

I could also mention Apple Car Play, Performance Data Recorder (PDR), Dash Cam ....... .

C8 or Lucid Air - time to decide

"electromagnetic shock damping variance, electronically-altered drive modes, HUD displays, and Android Auto have been around for several years now among various brands. I wouldn't exactly call them "cutting edge" technologies at this point." None of which the Lucid has. I guess it's years behind.

Coefficient of Drag for Touring & Pure..... What does this mean?

I'm thinking that we need to dimple the surface of the Lucid like a golf ball. 🤣 Not really, but its an interesting phenomena.

    No-drill front license plate?

There are several solutions out there using the tow hook. Would probably take a little research to find the correct size. Here's one example!

C8 or Lucid Air - time to decide

Obviously your Corvette was not a C8. Comparisons to the Lucid are ridiculous on too many counts. Dang! I was really trying not to say apples and oranges. But Lucid has a few deliveries to go before it earns any real street cred.

2.0.15 - The MOAU - Mother Of All Updates

Here's hoping you are right! I figure the best I can hope for is March for my Stealth GT.

    Reservation Cancellations feedback

Given the pace that EV technology is advancing in both battery tech and efficiency, I suspect that the EVs being produced today may depreciate fairly quickly. If Lucid can get over the production/delivery and software hump they may be an exception. I don't see the same prospects for my Taycan...

    Range question

Does anyone actually know the useable battery capacity of the GT? I understand that the spec is 112kw. But is all of that actually useable or just theoretical? I ask because my Taycan has the 93.4kw performance battery. However, only 84kw is actually available for use.

    Anyone have 19" wheel specs?

As far as actual wheel specs, I can't find anything more than width and diameter. The 19s are 8.5" front and rear. The 21s are 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. It would be nice to know the ETs (offsets) and the bolt spacing. Given the weight of the car, it would be comforting to know if the wheels are...
