Yes, they stay up. The clips on three sides hold them in place. They are black mesh. A little finer mesh than the built in rear door and rear glass shades. They look much lighter in those photos than they are. Some bright sun was steaming through the mesh and the exposure wasn’t great...

Just installed mine. Very similar to the Tesla roof shade. The retaining clips are a bit fiddly, but so we’re the Tesla’s. So far so good. Driving with them is next.

Having used 2.1.3 for two days now, the most useful features are (1) auto seat adjust on entry/exit (I’m 6’1” and I’d mastered the drop and pivot to avoid head bonks, but this makes it much easier), and (2) wide-angle mode on the backup camera - great for backing out of head-in parking spaces.

I’m building a new home and including a 38kW + battery solar plant. I have a Lucid Home Charger I’ll be using there. I chose Native Solar as the contractor after a lot of interviewing.

Update for my GT: VIN assigned 10/6, interior: Santa Cruz, pencils received, shipped from factory 10/28 headed to Houston. Awaiting a pickup date.
