I see positive side in your rant ... Eagerness to get the vehicle, love for this company and excitement of ownership of a luxury EV car. Stay positive my experience had been good with LUCID. I bought Model X in July and Tesla's delivery experience was very bad for the.top model from them...

Planet will survive for sure, others will adapt by force but will continue to lag behind or some will eventually shut the doors. But that will require Model 2 and some thing on Lucid in that price range.

I never complained for not being beta tester. I complained about we were not made aware of the release in beta. I never want to be a beta tester for one reason I don't drive a lot and even if I qualify, I'll not do justice to the ask put on beta testers.

Expanding or opening beta program for larger audience is a BAD idea. Use trusted partners and go with them. I'm happy the way existing beta community worked in 2.0 update cycle. NOT happy the way we got to know about it.

Not to sound rude, but why are you comparing Apples (Lucid) to Lemons (not oranges)? Later is 14 years in making and other is 1 years in production. Just for the sake of credibility I just sold new Model X (new yoke steering edition) and still own M3, don't like to compare Apples and Lemons...

Or run and save it in a memory in the car that works without waking up the car. That portion of the compute can work on 12V and don't need HV portion.

I would prefer to see the app work without triggering wakeup of the car from sleep. Everytime I open the app to check location of the car or just open app out of curiosity to check battery level, the app triggers an event in the car and car starts waking up. It's lot of power wasted for little...

That is bad practice and that doesn't mean Lucid should do the same. Lucid is premier brand as compared to Tesla and others and must stand out in various ways as a premier brand.

I agree as I've been in IT for about 25 years. I have written and agreed about beta testers need in all posts tonight. But communicate in advance with us, we'll be still excited and not complaining :)

I wish LUCID officially sent this out to address the upcoming beta version instead of beta testers breaking the news on Twitter and this forum. Please provide some basics of OCM concept to marketing and software dev team or whoever controls the software release (in this case we are the org)...

I'm of the opinion we still need beta testers try it out. But I've shared how this can be managed well.
