So @np1989 reserved a silver car with DDP/glass canopy/SSP on March 26, 2022 confirmed his order 10/31/22, gets VIN assigned on 11/8 and delivery on 11/15 but @Chillywill75 placed his deposit 11/8/20 for the same spec car and confirms his order 5 days before @np1989 has nothing yet? Why is that?

Finalized my second Zenith Red Touring build today. Wanted metal roof and base surreal sound so it will take a while, but opted for DD Pro for the lane keeping assist and blind spot video assist. It's a shame these were omitted from DD. This will be the car I keep. Hopefully my earlier build...

I assume this Lucid connected home charging system must be hard-wired. Am I correct?

I guess I'll just wait until November 15th to finalize. If they give more details on the Pure, surely they will discuss the base sound system. Since I'm getting a metal roof, the delay won't matter.

I called the Lucid national sales number and they had no idea about the base Surreal sound.

Trying to finalize my order and am not able to find anything showing what the base SS offers. I assume no Dolby Atmos, but less speakers and lower power? Anyone know?

Lucid Air Touring reserved 10/14/20, loaded Taycan 4S as seen in my avatar (MSRP $149,000) was an impulse purchase a month later. Car has been fantastic over the 33,000 miles of ownership. My car has had no issues like many early Taycans. An incredible daily driver. Can't wait for the Touring...

I confirmed my 2 touring reservations today. No reason not to as far as I'm concerned. If I don't want to keep either car after I take delivery, they'll be sold. The recent price increase and scarcity of the cars should prevent losing $.

The GT was pretty darn fast in Swift mode which should be similar to Sprint mode in the Touring. Felt similar to when I use launch control on my Taycan 4S, which is certainly fast enough for me. No launch control in the Lucid however. Just stomp on the accelerator and go.

I just called the West Palm studio and was told no touring test drives until October but was offered a GT test drive.

2 Touring reservations: October 14, 2020 Zenith Red/Santa Cruz/20"/aluminum roof when available. May 31, 2022 Zenith Red/Santa Cruz. Hopefully this one will be better than the earlier build. In no rush. Enjoying every minute daily driving my 2020 Taycan 4S now with 25,000 miles.
