    Received my Tesla Tap

same - I have a tap and use it regularly - although I did file it slightly to make sure my wife could swap it off when she needs to charge her Tesla. Boosted the Gen2 Tesla charger up to 72A (I have a 90A circuit) and with the 80A Tap, it charges very nicely. It's simple to grab if I'm taking...

New member, new owner (soon) in Anaheim, CA

I might wait for Lucid's quarterly earnings call & see what their production ramp is. We know they halted in June to re-work quality on the line, but you may get some more realistic projections for timelines coming out of that discussion as folks do projections on this forum.

I am not doing PPF - I went with their Modesta titanium/glass treatment. I don't put that many highway miles on the car & don't fear rock chips (I had an audi for 10 years and only encountered 2 minor ones) - I am optimizing for keeping the car cleaner and paint swirl-free. Quoted $1700 for the...

Lucid Air GT cross country trip LIVE

what's the highest charge rate you've seen? I expected to see closer to 300+ kW on those 350kW chargers - I keep seeing you get around 170ish

    Launch Mode

It does make a difference vs. just jumping on the accelerator. I think sprint mode pre-warms batteries (can anyone confirm?), so I would put it in sprint for a few minutes beforehand to get the full experience.

    Wa front license plate

It arrived within 36 hours of me hitting the button - looks really good, comes with good instructions. I'm going to hold off on applying it until I am forced to. Even then, I'm considering having my ppf guy do it for me so I don't screw it up. Nice part is they advertise successful removal...

    Wa front license plate

Same - no front (for the first time on any car I've owned), but if required I'm going to attempt to go with the sticker. I've already ordered, shipped same day from https://customlicenseplates.us/

    Temporary Registration

When they delivered mine, they handed me a folio with info to send in. I had to fill it out & file it with the state. Got my plate in plenty of time. Not sure if that was a different process because I'm in WA state, or just a different delivery experience.

    Give Kudos to Lucid

Christina Lee in Seattle was amazing - had a paint problem on delivery and she arranged the work to happen while I was out of town - very flexible, reviewed & rejected the first paint touch-up by the approved body shop (!) and arranged for easy pick-up/delivery and rental. Really made it as...
