    Highway Assist

You could set the adaptive cruise control for a ridiculously low speed, then use the go-pedal to "temporarily" override it to something faster for the entire drive. That would achieve lane centering with you controlling the speed.

    Lucid Natick

There were two chargers outside, both of which had customer cars hooked up when we were there. I think those were cars that the shop had just worked on, but I'm not sure. There weren't any owners around them.

    Lucid Natick

I stopped by the Natick Studio today while we were at the mall. Talked to the manager who showed us around. They are now a licensed auto dealer, so can discuss pricing and take payments there, and handle Massachusetts RMV paperwork in a day. They have a dedicated room for deliveries, much...

SiriusXM favorites, how to keep them stable

This has happened to me once, and was only fixed with the "Bobby Reset". While in park, switch to the guest profile, then back to your profile. That resets many things in the computer.

    Lucid Natick

I got an email: Join us for a demo drive at the new Natick Studio. Please join us for an exclusive preview of our Natick Studio, where you will have the opportunity to demo-drive the Lucid Air. Come out, meet the team, and experience the groundbreaking Lucid Air. Book...

    Can't Charge Off-Peak

If you have something you think Lucid should know, tell them directly. Don't just post it here and hope they see it. After I had my car a month and completed my cross-country trip, I sent a message to customer care with about 20 items on my wish list for things I wanted the car to be able to...

    Mobile key optimal function advice?

I tried using just my phone instead of the fob, and found one use case did work perfectly, and another use case was unacceptable. Walking up to a door, it always presented the handles by the time I got there. But if approached from the back of the car and tried to open the trunk, it often would...

    Longest Point-to-Point Road Trip?

If your goal is just to cover miles, stick to the major interstate highways and you should do fine. We purposely left the interstate a number of times, for scenery or a particular attraction (House on the Rock in Wisconson was amazing!). Some of those side trips challenged our ability to find...

    Longest Point-to-Point Road Trip?

6,500 miles, Boston to Yellowstone and back, over 3 weeks. We averaged 300 mi/day, with both sightseeing and charging stops. No problems with the car. Only one failed EA charging attempt out of about 25 charges. We used A Better Route Planner, set to "more frequent shorter charging stops"...

    Lucid Launch Event

I suspect the vague numbers come from hand-built prototypes, and they don't want to put down a hard number until a production car has been formally tested.

Coefficient of Drag for Touring & Pure..... What does this mean?

The only exterior difference I'm aware of is the metal roof. Maybe that lowers the coefficent of drag? It's one piece rather than having a glass seam and then a metal bow tie like the glass has.

    Range question

The problem was crossing South Dakota and Wyoming.

    Range question

On our recent trip from Boston to Yellowstone and back, we saw few chargers west of Chicago. A Better Route Planner said it wasn't possible to get where we were going, and we only did it by overnighting at one point at a motel near a slow charger that we left the car on overnight. Without as...

    Off-Topic Volvo EX90 EV - SUV w/Lidar - teaser video

Many companies want to keep confidential their reservation or production numbers, so do not assign numbers sequentially. Just like the last 5 digits of a Lucid VIN do not mean anything, it's likely that the Volvo reservation numbers don't either. Back in my days of doing web programming for...

RESOLVED Does your front footwell woofer work properly? TSB-B1122-001

To offer another perspective: I don't want to stream from Tidal. The Tidal experience sucks, with a poor U/I and plays the same tracks over and over. I own an extensive library of music which I've digitized at lossless quality that sounds great on other sound systems. If I can't play this in...

    Range estimation information with 2.0.24

If you're saying 42psi, that means you have 21 inch wheels, and the stated range is 446, not 516. The longer range only applies to 19 inch wheels. So instead of getting 79% of the EPA range, you're getting closer to 90%.

Is Lucid Playing Games with me?

No, the last 5 digits of the VIN are not assigned in sequence.

What would you like to see from the Lucid mobile app?

Yes, from within the Lucid app you can send an address to the vehicle. What we are asking for is the ability for any app on the phone to be able to do that. The Lucid app needs to tell iOS that it is a way to share locations. Then from, say Google Maps, you can select a pin, click Share, then...

Trunk and Frunk symbols difficult to distinguish

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. Every time I need to open one of those, I just guess which is which. I'm slightly dyslexic, and see that as two identical icons facing different directions, but can't ever remember which one faces which way.

Vote for your favorite Color and Discuss Why?

I have always gone for bright colors on my cars. I can't stand grey, black, white, silver--they aren't colors. I would have loved to get a bright blue. Alas, the really dark red was the only real color offered.
