I was given my gray GT VIN on May 13th, with a 2-6 week delivery timeframe. Now on week 10 with no tangible update. Hope you have better luck...

I hear what you guys are saying, but by telling me repeatedly that my car has no particular issue and is only in an inspection backlog, it certainly begs the question of why the inspection process is not FIFO. I know no one can answer this here, so I will stop being annoying and shut up.

How do you make sense of @LRSIII having his VIN issued over 45 days later than mine, same color and interior configuration, same delivery point, being notified his vehicle is shipping, while mine is in an inspection delay?

This is from my DA last evening; it frankly does not make sense: I was able to get an update that there are still cars that have not yet completed the heightened review process. These new guidelines caused a huge back log of cars to go through this review which is the reason why it is taking...

Yeah - my expectations in that regard are zilch... That aside, still excited to get my car, one of these days!

Besides the exasperating delay, my main concern is that there seems to be no willingness to share with me, now or upon eventual delivery, the specific reason(s) why my vehicle has not made it out of production over 8 weeks after VIN assignment, when clearly other vehicles are making it through...

Curious as to whether they tried to make up for the delay with mega swag…?
