I completely understand range anxiety and that people were upset when their EV doesn’t go the expected range. But I never trusted my ICE car either. My Audi Q7 says 580 miles on a tank of gas. I assume I’ll get about 70-75% of that too.

With thanksgiving weekend coming up. Is anyone concerned that there won’t be enough EA fast chargers on the peak travel times over the weekend? Has me worried. Seems like people don’t understand charging etiquette.

Ive been told that you need a shop with a heated garage to do vinyl and other stuff in the winter when it’s really cold outside. Most Pro shops have them of course.

Other have simply paid for the charge with a credit card and then asked for reimbursement from EA. Not sure if you can do this if you didn’t call them when it was happening. But it should be obvious on their end that they charged a Lucid Air and almost all of them have free EA charging.

Also, keep in mind that fast charging is for road trips or free charging. Most people charge at home.

I think it’s more likely that Engadget got the info wrong. We don’t know if there is LIDAR without DD Pro (I suspect there isn’t). But you need LIDAR and additional hardware for DD Pro so right now it can’t be added aftermarket.

My understanding of charging is that is dependent on many factors other than state of charge and the charger kW. I don’t understand why charging at 160 instead of >200 is a big deal. How much time does that add to the charge? Is it a lot?

But the metal is much lighter. I wouldn’t be surprised to see touring with the metal roof get slightly better range than glass. Kind of like 19 va 20 inch tires
