I’ve had cars with the active bolsters before. But I guess I like to sit loose in the seat and never really got that hugging feeling. I assume because I prefer the side bolsters to be away from my body? I don’t like the hugging sensation when I’m just sitting the Car going on errands and daily...
Sorry you had a bad experience. Looked like you handled it much calmer than I would have.
I’m quite surprised Lucid refuse the tow considering the car was giving error messages earlier. I had a similar problem with my i pace where it wouldn’t work and then restarted just fine an hour later...
I have don’t this a couple of times without issue (although though with Lexus and Audi, not BMW). I would check for a prepayment penalty but usually there isn’t a clause like that.
Just checked the website. Almost all of the GTs have DDPro and SSPro
There is a base model that includes a 3 month trial of DDPro and SSPro. Perhaps lucid is moving towards building all the vehicles with the same equipment and then adding/enabling feature via software.
This makes sense to me.
Another thought about these used GTs.
Previously on threads it’s been reported that for DDPro you need extra hardware so it’s can’t be added after market.
Now they are offering GTs without the feature, but to my knowledge they haven’t produced a Touring or Pure without DDPro
Does that mean...
Perhaps there is more competition on the west coast. For me when I travel in Indiana or Michigan it is pretty much EA for fast charging (or Tesla of course) I wish there was more competition but we don’t have people traveling with EVs as much outside of California.
I understand your point but this is kind of standard across the industry. Most vehicles include options. Some people like to make it their own. And when it comes to resale the options it has does matter. Fully loaded will go for a little more.
Yeah. Not sure what the OP exactly wants. But I suspect that what he is ranting about is the lack of EA fast chargers in South Texas, therefore there isn’t a L3 fast charger nearby for him to take advantage of free charging.
Is the expense of changing out the charger worth it? The adapter is $200 that is much less. I don’t see the advantage with the extra money the OP is spending. How much faster will it charge?
I’m not an electrician but if you are rated for 90A at 240V that is plenty. You could install two chargers on that circuit without a problem.
Feel free to DM
Yes. Maximum convenience is two separate circuits each with a hardwired charger I would guess.
A step down would be two chargers on the same circuit or some other load sharing solution.
Another step down would be a dual EV charger for simultaneous charging or a nema 14-50 switch for charging...
You only need one charger even if you have two EVs.
You have many options and many people will tell you different things. I don’t know your situation. But I would recommend buying one of these for about $150 and just plugging your cars in, one at a time.
I honestly think that adapter is all...
