Watch out when sending a destination from Google Maps on your phone to your car

Too bad I didn't know about this place during the 8 years that my son was in this area. (He was an early admission to your alma mater, his dream school, but then changed his mind after visiting Palo Alto)

    RESOLVED Trouble Programming Homelink

Curious about the brand and age of your garage opener. As a last resort, if it’s me, I’d buy a new remote controller, pair it with the garage opener, and then try using this new remote controller to pair with the car.

    Electrify America Overpriced?

My Wonderbox was replaced last year so I was just on the phone with CS to verify that I have the appropriate PnC certificate. They told me it's standard protocol to push the new certificate and to do a test charger at EA prior to releasing the car. I don't know how long this protocol has been...

    Repair Costs

Never heard of insurance company doing that😎. Want to hear another story? My old insurance company counted the glass rock chip repairs against my records without letting me know. I only found out when I talked with the agent. Had I known this, I’d have paid out of pocket for these minor things.

    RangeXChange trick

I'm envious. The only free chargers at our hospital are level 1 in an uncovered area. They are used mostly by Tesla 3.

Any special reason why 4 jacks were used instead of a lift?

I'm on the list, too. Haven't received the notice, but no rush for me. It'll come some time.

    Software update 2.3.0

Thanks for posting the article. Two lines caught my attention: " Our head of software development is on Reddit all the time hearing what people are saying and interacting. It’s great to get the feedback and it drives our software roadmap to make sure we’re delivering on what customers want.” I...

    DreamDrive Megathread

Sometimes I have to remind myself that comments about DDP are not unexpected, given some of these folks paid $10K 2, 3 years ago, for this feature.

    Insurance not being covered

Well, I'm not an attorney so I don't know. If it's me, I'd send the same letter to all three states, with copy to both insurance companies. Just copy and paste, using appropriate addresses, of course.

    Insurance not being covered

An anesthesiologist on this forum ran into some serious insurance issues and I remember him contacting the Commissioner of Insurance of his state. That formal step apparently got the ball rolling for him. The residency has just started so you don't have a lot of time for these bureaucratic...

My Geico policy went way up today :)

I also cancelled my policy when I found out that they counted my chipped glass repairs against me. Where I'm, we'd have 2 chips a month and this is supposed to be "free" repairs. Travelers is no longer what it once was.

My Geico policy went way up today :)

Wow. I recall you’d been a long-time customer of T insurance. Are they bugging out of California or just a matter of premium increase?

Lucid Combined Home Charging System Installation tips!

The instruction on the manual is as follows: 1. Using a laptop, seek its Wi-Fi Network (SSID), matching the serial # of the unit, a 10- digit number found on the label on the right side of the unit. (ex. 2215200034). Once selected, use the serial number again of the station as the password to...

Lucid Combined Home Charging System Installation tips!

Agree that Lucid charge is really simple. Can't get any simpler. Don't need any holster for the cable. Just wrap it around something. No need to have a potentiometer to decrease the brightness of the light. Helps see things in the dark garage. Want to change the charging current? No need to...

Lucid Combined Home Charging System Installation tips!

Thanks. I have the common man's Orbit router and will dig into this. Not too hopeful that I can find it. Wishing that Lucid has an app like ChargePoint., which is half the price.
