Lucid Motors CEO, Board Sued Over Alleged Misleading Production Claims

Can we ban links to eletric vehicles? It's such a shittily run website with poorly written articles and clickbait BS. I refuse to click any links from them to avoid giving them site traffic.

    Opinions about Hey Lucid

I guess Lucid is doing things better if people are writing diatribes about voice assistants rather than drive unit failures. Can't win em all 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Cadillac Vistiq

This is precisely the reason given by Peter when I asked him if the seats would be powered at the unveiling event at the LA Auto Show last year. Extra weight = decreased efficiency.

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

For unclear reasons, it takes a bit of time to activate the new sound. I installed the update Thursday morning but the sound change didn't happen until Saturday morning when I got in the car. At that time, I was blasted with a wall of body rattling bass at a ridiculously loud volume. That's how...

    Unlocking with mobile key unreliable

For me, it's the front passenger door, whose handle was replaced at some point when the motor broke. I've asked service a couple of times to see if the 'handles not waking the car' is potentially a hardware issue with the original handles given that the replaced handle is the only one that...

    RESOLVED In home charger

EA chargers are level 3, not 2. I can't believe the software update broke your charger. You need to troubleshoot whether it's the car or the charger. Do you have a different car to try on your charger? Or a different level 2 charger to try your car on? Those would be the only ways to see what's...

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

I think the new sound is great, but it's way too loud. I used to keep the volume around 55% for most Atmos songs. Now it's too loud beyond even 25%. Craziness

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I've never towed anything in my life and have no plans to start doing so, so no need to spend the money on it.

    Gravity Seating Configuration

And? They made Air prototypes with the executive rear seating that was eventually canned. There are also Gravity prototypes with CCS connectors, but we'll never see those either. If @borski says they'll likely never make it to production, I'd trust him.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I was assigned a sales associate out of Century City, but have heard nothing from her.

Car will not update. Lucid says needs new telematics module not covered by warranty. Is this normal?

Of course, it can be ignored. But the point has been belabored for 13 pages. Nothing new has been added for at least the last 10. It's better to just put it out to pasture. Going round and round over and over is just ridiculous.

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

I tried to sit in an EX90 3rd row yesterday. I only fit if the 2nd row was all the way forward. I'm 6 ft, so I know it's designed for me. But in Gravity, a 6'6" person supposedly can comfortably fit. The EX90 drove well and was comfortable, but in terms of overall space and range/power, it can't...

Can't this thread go away and get locked already? The going round and round is getting ridiculous.

    BEWARE of Misleading Sales Specialists

For sure. I test drove an EX90 yesterday and very much knew more than the sales guy thanks to a single test drive video I watched a few months ago. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Ordering Lucid Air Touring

The sales team is just that - for sales. Once you've bought the car, they're of no use to you any longer, and you're now needing to deal with the service team. The best way to communicate is generally directly with your local service center. The national CS can get bogged down and sometimes...

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

I'd say they are: 2025 BMW X7 xDrive40i: The starting MSRP for this model is $83,500. 2025 BMW X7 M60i: The starting MSRP for this model is $110,900. 2025 BMW X7 ALPINA XB7: The starting MSRP for this model is $152,400. 2025 BMW iX xDrive50: The starting MSRP for this all-electric SUV...

    Gravity looks perfect

If I go 80 in my Air GT on 20s (and the same with my old 21s), I get maybe 3 mi/kwh. This would translate to a range of about 330 miles. The Gravity, being heavier and less aerodynamic, will almost certainly do worse at 80. Driving 70, I can get closer to 3.7 mi/kwh, but that's no fun.

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

Lucid said in the 'fall' and AA is apparently in Google's hands awaiting final approval. We'll get AA once it's cleared by Google, so who knows when.
