REMINDER: Lucid tech confirmed the car is NOT calculating/displaying the correct mi/kwh. I would not worry too much about being in low 3s until after that bug is fixed. My car never gets above 3.2-ish, but all my data logs were pulled, and my car is working perfectly.

Mine does not seem connected to the mechanics of the car at all. In other words, it creaks when I turn it, it creaks when I push on it. It sounds like it is something with the plastic housing.

    All of the above

Nothing other than the engineers determined it needs a design fix to really correct the problem. It sounds more like the plastic housing creaking, nothing mechanical or internal.

I know one thing the new wheel is meant to fix is the loud creaking some of us have. They put a band-aid on mine, but it has started creaking again. I was told they would put on the new wheel as soon as it was available, but no eta. Lucid service continues to be incredible (my experience).

Edmu Edmund's and InsideEVs both got close and did not do anything crazy special. Why can't we? Until Lucid fixes and confirms the car is calculating and displaying the correct SOC and power consumed values, I plan to not worry about it.

    Lucid start to drive time

I am notoriously impatient, and the boot times really are not that bad. After talking to techs, I am even more confident this will get better and better.

Just a reminder to everyone that the car is NOT displaying/calculating the correct mi/kWh (confirmed by tech). Everyone is probably getting better range than they think.

    CarPlay is here! - Megathread

Really hoping Android Auto launches at the same time or shortly after Car Play 🤞

Also remember that until the mis-calculation bug is fixed (see me early post confirmed by a tech), everyone's numbers are sorta moot.

    Vacation Battery Protection

If it were me, I would leave it plugged in set to 80% and not worry about it. I don't think 2 or 3 weeks is long enough to do anything special-- or at least I wouldn't have thought to do anything special haha!

I encourage anyone (with a car) who is having problems (perceived or real) -- including poor range -- to post about it so we can collectively try and figure things out. For example, I have had ZERO issues with bluetooth audio and walk-up/away door unlocking, but I would not say, "there is...

I think it would work like this: EPA for GT w/ 21" is 28 kwh per 100 miles-- for 469 total EPA miles, that multiplies out to be a 131 kwh battery so there is approx. 15% in charging losses for the GT's sctual 112 kwh battery). You could then take whatever the EA charger says you charged, the...

    Average mi/kwh

I think another possible way would be to record how many kwh the EA charger says it delivered. Then, use the EPA's kwh per 100 miles number (which includes the charging loss). For now, I am just going to assume my car is working perfectly 😎.

That is sorta like saying, "my car doesn't leak; therefore, all Lucid's do not leak." I have never disputed that a properly functioning vehicle performs correctly relative to EPA. What I have been trying to figure out is why do some cars seem to be lower performing than others? Turns out, there...

Lucid tech was out today (starting a separate thread with all my notes-- customer service was phenomenal): * Tech's group has performed testing that shows that cars are calculating the INCORRECT VALUES FOR MI/KWH. * "Since Last Charge" is especially wrong * Trip A and B (if cleared immediately...

There is also the reason of trying to make sure your car is actually working correctly. Most of the posts concerned about low mi/kwh I have read on here seem primarily worried their car is borked. Some of us can't get our cars above 3.3 mi/kwh (EPA is 4.2 for mine) no matter what we do or how we...

    Tired of Poor Quality software

I think this is a big part of the problem. Cadenced updates with even marginal improvements would make everyone feel better. This long between updates is concerning; unfortunately, it likely means they are having problems and not simply waiting to drop a big glorious update on us.
