I’m sure this has been discussed elsewhere, but does anyone know if the replacement batteries that we have been receiving in GTs are the same battery that will be in the 2024 GTs? After receiving the new batteries my car is much more efficient and stable in general.

Honestly, It’s hard to see this as a credible review if all you can say on the positive side is that it looks good and handles nicely.

I’m happy to see these upgrades and am equally as happy that it didn’t render my GT obsolete, like we so often see in the industry. Overall, good for current and future owners alike.

Had I known that the HV battery was going to be replaced at 25k miles, I would have routinely charged it to 100% at L3 chargers exclusively! 😂

I also joined the new HV battery club today and am wondering if anyone can share some best practices for breaking it in. I can't seem to find any threads on this topic.

The main thing to know is that it will ruin all other cars for you. Definitely get your home charger installed asap and enjoy.

Same. Hardwired seems to be the most consistent way for me to get a connection and .52 didn't help.

I also hope I am wrong. Living in our neck of the woods, having an alternative power source is a must. I also agree that if it’s not “coming soon”, they should put an estimated timeframe or just remove it all together. “Coming soon” loses its excitement after 2 years.

That was one of the factors I weighed when I ordered mine as well. After delivery I read the tea leaves and installed Powerwalls, which came in handy last night. I don’t think we are going to see bi-directional charging for quite a while.
