    Park Assist and Garages

When I first got it, I was really interested to see if it would work, it did not.

    Glass Canopy concerns.

At this point, Lucid is the only place that can do it. It's a fairly involved job that requires two people as well as a half a day of calibration. I think someone else on the board attempted to have a chip patched by Safelite, but it didn't take, so he wound up having the whole thing replaced. I...

    Glass Canopy concerns.

If insurance hadn't paid it, it's $2500 including labor. I think the windshield itself is $1500.

Highway Assist & Traffic Jam Assist

Exactly what I thought to...I'm going to end all of my replies to you with that...f/u.

    Glass Canopy concerns.

Wish I had your luck. One month in and a rock chip that required a replacement. Don't get me started on the number of Jeep windshields I've had.

    Glass Canopy concerns.

With the understanding that others AC systems may not work as well or have issues, I have not had problems with heat and the glass canopy despite not having the windshield tinted. I have the 4 side windows and rear window tinted at 20, and it has made a big difference. The major reason I am not...

    CarPlay is here! - Megathread

Not sure anyone is defending not having it. It's clear that some people really, really like it (perhaps the majority of all Apple users). Some people, like me, don't have an iPhone (yes, there are some of us). Some people, again like me, never really used it in the first place (Android Auto in...

Mobile key is non functional and valet card is completely unreliable

I'm with you (maybe because I haven't had a car with a phone key before the Lucid). It actually would feel pretty weird to leave the house without a fob. Strangely though, I view the phone key as a backup in the more likely than it should be event that the fob battery dies :).

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

The range definitely goes into the toilet on climbs, and it will also really jump around A LOT if you're looking at 20-30 miles total per day. For example, it's a good 10 mile downhill to take my son to work. The other day I went to go pick him up in the evening and intentionally trying to...

    Feedback/improvements for the Air!

I wouldn't think there would be any regulation around a system that is largely redundant. Given that the side mirrors would be the regulation requirement, it can't see how Lucid would have regulatory compliance issues. Annoyed customers, certainly. For me, I'm so used to side mirrors that i...

    Can anyone top this?!

Thanks for figuring that out. Looking at all of the pictures, I was confused by why you SoC was dropping but you were maintaining such a high kWh. A bug definitely answers that question :).

At least Lucid doesn’t have the recall that Toyota has

https://www.cnn.com/2022/06/24/cars/toyota-bz4x-tundra-recall/index.html Wheels may fall off. Owners should not drive it No fix yet Dealers will pick up the car and provide a free loaner until a fix is available Wow!

Lucid Air GT cross country trip LIVE

It would certainly start to sway to yes, if the charging stations were a lot more reliable. Imagine if only a third of the gas stations on the open road actually had gas. You might have a bit more range anxiety in an ICE vehicle. I was more anxious on the trip to SD that the station wouldn't...

    Tesla Self-driving software

It's unfortunate that Musk's showmanship has steered so far off course. I've never seriously considered a Tesla before because it didn't suit what I was looking for AND was pretty common on the roads. That second statement is key. The reason why there are Lucids and Rivians and everything else...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

Yeah, I found myself really looking forward to the time Tesla decides to open their network to non-Tesla. Not sure if it will ever happen, but at least the fact that it's occurring in Europe and some optimism that it opens here, is good. Fortunately, I have determined that I just need to plan...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

I think I agree with that...also, I think you are about 40-50 miles closer out there in Litchfield park, so that will help too :).

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

So PHX to San Diego is a bit of a tougher drive than I was expecting. We started out and the Nav was suggesting El Centro. Started at 445 mi in range and would have made it to the EA station there with probably about 50 miles left or so (maybe a little less). But I decided to stop at Dateland...
